Worst customer service ever at a 5Below...the lady hovered over minorities, made sure to come over and scan our items for us. I tried buying different items but was told they needed to be purchased separately! Omg take the drive go somewhere else! Never coming back, she needs a new job! Didn't get her name but she is an old white lady!

You can only leave a review if you give the place at least one star they don’t even deserve an eighth of a star. I went there bought one thing, they have to ring you up even though they have a self check out. As I was opening my wallet, and the guy was standing over me as if he was gonna take my wallet out of my hand said oh I have to put the money in for you. He said it’s corporate policy. Well I have been to other five below and they do not have the same policy so it couldn’t be corporate policy and why would anyone want to shop at a store that stands over you as you open your personal wallet with your money in to pay like I’m in capable of putting money in a machine and I would never let them touch my credit card.
DO NOT SHOP AT THIS STORE I HOPE THE DOLLAR TREE NEXT-DOOR PUTS THEM OUT OF BUSINESS

The big tall girl with glasses kept following me and my family around assuming we were stealing something. She could’ve asked if we needed help or straight up asked to run our pockets because all we had was money. Not to mention we came in with no bags, purses, nothing! I’m sorry but we have plenty of money to pay for 5 dollar items. I hope you lost a pound with all the walking you had to do following us 😊

The girls here are so rude the card reader wasn’t working and I said I will just pay cash and an older lady that works here said this is why we don’t scan ourselves when one of the ladies scanned my stuff.. if your gonna have bad customer service and a bad attitude then maybe they shouldn’t be working in retail!!!! Not coming back

We have had multiple bad experiences at this store since it opened. It's 3 minutes from our house, but we drive an extra 10 minutes just to go to the Littleton location. We decided to try this location again because it had been months since we have been and When we first walked in the "store manager" kept giving us dirty looks as we were browsing with our son. We proceeded to look at phone chargers and one of the employees was staring at me as if I was going to steal, I didn't notice but my husband was watching as this was happening. Once I put it in the cart, she walked away. My son found a very cheaply made plastic light up pumpkin that said "try me" and he picked it up to try it and accidentally dropped it. He was pushing the try me button and one of them came up and said rudely "if your son breaks these you're going to have to buy them" so we said ok. My husband went up to her and said "could I have your name please" and she replied "i don't have to give you my name, im the store manager" and was very rude about it. He walked out and I walked after him and she gave me a smirk as I was walking out too. So we left our cart, and again drove to the Littleton location instead where they are always very friendly.

I am only giving a 2 star because the second employee who checked me out was so nice.
When I first walked into the store I was not greeted and seen the worker was on her phone. I truly don’t care because it’s midday on a Monday and they’re not that busy.
I ask for a return because I went to the Lakewood 5 below and was told if the car charger did not work I could bring it back with the receipt.
I had the receipt and asked for a return. The employee said this one time she can do the return but their policy was they can’t when it’s opened. I apologized and said I wasn’t sure and didn’t know why that lady told me otherwise at another store. When I was not snappy at all because it wasn’t her fault and I was already appreciative of her doing the return. I think she thought I was snappy or blaming her because her whole attitude changed big time!
I said “oh sorry I didn’t know.” She said “yeah well it’s been our policy MISS!” (we look the same age btw haha)
I told her “i understand that, and i was sorry it’s just what the other store told me.” Then she tells me again “yup our policy miss.”
She gets me a receipt to sign and says “have a good day miss” But the pen she gave me doesn’t work so I’m trying to use it and she keeps saying “have a good day miss” while checking a customer out. When I’m trying to tell her the pen doesn’t work!
Finally she listens to me and says it two more times “have a good day MISS.” I looked at her and said I needed to get a replacement charger and would be back. She looked at me and walked away.
Please be a little nicer, I promise we’re not all meanies out here girl! Have a Blessed day. :)

Older Lady with glass that works closing shift was rude and got mad because I didn't care to read a question. I can understand why she was annoyed when I self checked out a water I made a simple mistake and apologized. but then to get mad for not reading a question but yes lady your store was a mess and I'm glad I put it. Do better and understand that some people are tired and just don't think sometimes. If you can't be sympathetic don't work retail !!!

I have not had the issues that the folks leaving the one-star reviews have had. The employees are always nice and say hello. It's a clean store and a convenient location.

Do NOT ever go to this location and put an item back incorrectly! I also told this employee I was taking a picture so she wouldn’t be mistaken when I put in a complaint!!! This supposed manager came around and harassed my family because my 7yr old daughter didn't put a lawn chair back that she looked at CORRECTLY. I asked my daughter why she didn't put it back, because we do not allow that & she DID but apparently it was done wrong! It bothered this employee so much she had to come over to our family and ask me. She didn't direct the question to my husband who was standing but asked me as I am bent down helping one of my other son's find a phone case. My husband apologized and she continued to be rude about it not being put back correctly. I asked to speak to a manager because we didn't do anything wrong. Her attitude was excessive. I asked for her name as well but she refused she said she was the manager and didn't have to give her name. She threatened to call the police on us for HARASSMENT if we didn't leave. She was mad because we told her the way she went about that was rude! I have seen people walk out of this store without paying. Eat candy and leave. Hence why they don't keep anything outside. It's frustrating that people don't put things back in the right place but in the retail industry it's happens! We are paying customers that shop this location often. I have never been met with such terrible customer service! I feel bad for the other amazing employees that work here. I'm sorry this is your manager, I can only imagine how she treats employees. We are just a family who took our kids to five below to get something for good behavior and left with nothing. How embarrassing to ask a family of 6 to leave because you're having a bad day or hate your job.

Horrible customer service! Not once have I encountered a worker who has been nice or had a positive attitude! I decided not to get a hat and the employer said great we can’t re sell that so don’t try stuff on if your not gonna plan on buying it . Never heard that one before . Place just gives off uncomfortable vibes once you walk in

A client of mine was an employee there and had actually been let go due to having a family member as a co worker and she had let them know that they were related. Long story short, now they wont give her, her w2's to do her taxes!!! 1. That is illegal in the state of Colorado and 2. Myself and other's will be filing a report with the Better Business Bureau and calling the labor board!!! Note to everyone: Don't work at this location!!!
