Sopris Alpaca Farm is a fun and cute destination for the whole family, offering a memorable alpaca experience. Visitors can hand feed the friendly alpacas, pet them, and take pictures. The farm is easy to find, located right off the highway. It is open to the public daily with no need for reservations. For a small fee, guests can buy bags of feed for the animals. The farm also features separate areas for newborns, juveniles, and adult alpacas. In addition to alpacas, there are Scottish Highland cows to meet and a friendly farm cat. The rustic on-site boutique sells a variety of products made from the alpacas' luxurious fiber, including hats, scarves, mittens, sweaters, socks, and yarn, as well as Highland cow merchandise. The owners are described as amazing, sweet, and great hosts who open up their ranch for everyone to enjoy. For those seeking an extended visit, there is a clean and comfortable AirBNB unit on the property. It is an absolute blast and an outing you will not soon forget.
Stayed in the Airbnb cottage for an adult getaway and had the best time! Waking up to see precious alpaca faces and a beautiful landscape made this trip unforgettable! Super friendly and will be coming next time with my children!

Such a fun little place! It is definitely worth buying a bag of feed to give to all the alpacas. There is a nice gift shop with local and imported items.
