I had just installed new front brake pads, but driving in from Topeka there was extreme shaking coming down the mountains. An internet search and the customer ratings led me to Summit. Jim put me in first thing on Monday and determined I needed new rotors. I was on my way about 2 hours later with a safe car, smooth braking, and at a fair price. Thanks.

Got a punctured tire on I-70 west coming home from Denver. Had a hell of a night. Sat around waiting for a tow truck for hours that never showed up. Had to call to get another tow truck dispatched. Insurance made me tow the vehicle to a repair shop. The tow truck dropped the vehicle wherever it wanted to. Have no idea what this businesses issue is, but when I called after getting 2 hours of sleep so I could try to have the tire repaired or replaced I got nothing but attitude for trying to bring my business and my vehicle to this shop in an emergency. AVOID AT ALL COST.

Professionals all the way around! Jim and Shawna were so incredibly helpful. Everyone in this shop was courteous, professional, and thorough! They ran multiple tests on my vehicle to ensure it was functioning properly and to save money with unnecessary repairs. This kind of customer service, honesty, integrity, and care makes me wish I lived close enough to do all my maintenance with them.
Could not recommend more enthusiastically!

I dont do reviews unless the place or person deserves it both good or bad!
Now with Summit Automotive Group it’s not only good it was an awesome experience! The people there like Shawna, Raul, and Jim are such nice and honest people! And their shop is well kept, honestly it doesn’t look like a mechanic shop at all!
We went to Colorado for a family vacation, we drove from Texas, going back we experienced a major coolant leak and my engine started overheating! I initially called another local guy and he said “bring it to Jim” i dont have a lift and they need to observe where the leak is, so onto to Jim’s place we went! We are so thankful we were pointed at the right direction! They diagnosed and fixed our car within the day with very reasonable price!
If I could wish for one thing, I wish we have a Jim in Texas I could go to! We are beyond thankful! Wish Jim and his staff more blessings and success!

In Summit county I find Summit Automotive to be a good value. Also, they explain everything, like why a new battery now costs $350-confirmed by another source- on case made after 2018. I also like that they give their employees Saturday and Sunday off. Shows respect for self and others. I find it easy to make an appointment.

F150 Wheel bearing... Prompt scheduling for the area. Scheduling is accurate and efficient. Dropped vehicle at 10am and was diagnosed and repaired the same day. The customer service was fantastic and appreciated. Every person I dealt or spoke with was very professional in both communication and appearance. It was nice to work with a group that obviously takes a great deal of pride in their business.

Nice, professional and fair. Trusted my vehicles to Summit Automotive Group for 5 years now. Like every shop in the county they are busy, but they do quality work and won't mess you around. We've also been there to help me out in a pinch when I've needed it.

I'm so grateful for the service I received. I had a flat tire the night before and was stranded in Silverthorne. They were able to squeeze my car into their schedule, assessed and it just needed to be patched. I was in and out in less than an hour and back on my way to my destination. They were friendly, efficient and I appreciated that I could trust them not to charge me for a new tire when I didn't need one! Highly recommend

Cannot express how grateful I am to this shop and the people who work here. Helped me with a alternator issue and then in the end a key programming issue. We're EXTREMELY honest and fair with price and helping me out. Explained things to me and kept me updated throughout the whole day as they worked on it. Prolly the best mechanic shop I've been too. My wife's brakes started to shake coming down from the tunnel. We were due.. We called and we got new rotors and brakes within 2 hours. They were accommodating to our dogs and we were on our way to enjoy our mountain vacation. Fantastic service!
