Summit Design was wonderful to work with on our kitchen, bathroom and flooring remodeling project. Bryan snd Sandy were friendly, knowledgeable and organized. They listened to our suggestions, made their drawings and then guided us through the decision making process. We needed to expand the storage and function of our kitchen. Bryan drew up the perfect plans, Sandy helped find the perfect match to our existing cabinets and countertops and Nick helped coordinate the project. I traveled to this place because my on line search claimed they had Daltile.I wanted to see some tile ideas. the store was locked and the sign said no one was allowed without an appointment.the man opened the door and was so rude he took my breath away.he looked at my little white dog with such disgust, I thought he would throw up or shoot it so, it's not a store but the personal office of a designer? I normally use designers but man, not tempted to go back.

Sandy and Bryan helped with the design of a new shower and bathroom counter tops in our cabin. We were replacing the old shower and counter tops. Very helpful picking out tile and fixtures and coordinating with the existing space. Referred us to a contractor who was extremely helpful. Sandy, Bryan and Meredith were wonderful to work with for our large remodeling project. Bryan came out to our property several times to take accurate measurements and make sure we were on the same page of the design concept. Sandy helped me immensely pick out fantastic products such as flooring (2 kinds), cabinetry, countertops, tile, paint colors, hardware, fixtures, and all sorts of little things and overall design/decor ideas when I brought in random pillows/furnishings, rugs, toilets, etc that I wanted to match with. All 3- Sandy, Bryan and Meredith were quick to respond to my frequent crazy questions in such a polite and timely and respectful manner and quickly sent me quotes, money saving alternative options and were very mindful of my budget. Not only all of that, but they knew my timeline of the project and made sure all of the products came in plenty of time, even with changes and tried their best to keep my contractor on schedule (which was an issue). I wish I would have went through them initially for my renovation and have them help me pick out a contractor(s) for me to work with- would have went smoother.Service: Remodeling

We did a couple of projects with Summit Design center including a ski locker room and new laundry room and were extremely disappointed with the result. The staff at summit design were friendly and accommodating during the design process and we felt good about the project until installation time arrived. First, the cabinets arrived with significant damage which has not been addressed months later. It looks like someone took a hammer to some of the cabinets. Then it quickly became apparent that the installation as designed was not possible. The design by Summit Design was simply flawed and wouldn't work. So we were forced to change the entire design, forced to buy more cabinets and materials, and did not get the design we desired. But the worst part of the project was the contractors that summit design used for installation. They frequently did not show up to work on the project for days at a time, did very sloppy work, were rude, and charged far more than their written quote. The project went so terribly, we are forced to redo it with another firm.So what happened to the friendly folks at summit design when the cabinets we bought from them were damaged, their designs infeasible, and their contractor wrecking our home? They told us they just order cabinets, that the fraudulent design, bad installation and broken cabinets were not their problem.Do yourself a favor and try literally anyone else.

Sandy and Bryan of the Summit Design Center helped us redesign the kitchen in our Wildernest condo. They took a lot of care to solve functional (cabinetry layout) and aesthetic (blending the wished look of the materials with existing elements) design challenges. They also recommended a contractor who was extremely responsive and good to work with. Communication with the design team was easy and they were quick to respond to questions. The project was executed within the scheduled timeframe, except for a supply-chain issue with some of the appliances, for which they bear no responsibility. I give the Summit Design Center a high recommendation.Service: Remodeling

For months, we searched high and low for help with remodeling two small bathrooms in Silverthorne. Anyone who has tried to remodel anything that's not a major major project in Summit County will know it's hard to get anyone's attention for smaller projects. But I found Summit Design Center and Sandy and Bryan right away offered an excellent package of design and contractor assistance. They helped me with everything from design (cabinet and tile drawings were especially helpful), to selecting materials and finishes. They were communicative and thoughtful in answering design questions. They worked with us on getting the best price for fixtures. Their showroom in Silverthorne was convenient for viewing and choosing colors, tile, and other materials. In the end, we got exactly what we wanted. We used Bryan and Sandy to order the remodel supplies and materials for our condo including new kitchen cabinets, new flooring, bathroom tile for bath and shower, new glass door for shower and new pendant lights for the kitchen. They both did a great job coordinating with our contractor. Also they kept us current on order status including placement, transport and arrivals of the materials.

My rating is based on communication, or the lack there of. Bryan, the owner is present and excited for your project once you commit to buy all items through him and then he pushes you to handle everything on your own with his vendors directly which isn't communicated until you start asking questions. I love what I bought so they have great vendors but the client care, follow up, and communication ceases once the project is agreed upon and deposits are received. Overall, I would choose another company if your looking for a designer to walk with you through a complete kitchen remodel and not just sell you products and give you a design. Maybe I was under the wrong impression but when you sell people on products, using your vendors and it's your design, you'd think you'd be more involved or care about your clients experience until the project is complete. Bryan's explanation to my concerns was "he didn't want to step on the toes of the contractor". Choose a company that will stay involved, be the go between you and the vendors they sold you on and follow up until the completion of the project.

As a local contractor, I have had the pleasure of working with Summit Design Center over the last couple of years. With over 15 projects completed working hand and hand, I cant say enough good things about them. The bathroom and kitchen renders they put together are excellent. I would recommend Summit Design Center to anyone looking for a one stop shop for their new project. 10/10
