This PO is staffed w amazingly patient and caring people in spite of constantly being short staffed and overworked. Ryan is a real asset to the entire community serviced by this USPS.

If it were possible to give zero stars, I would seriously consider it. My roommate and I reserved a P.O. Box online through the USPS website and followed all the instructions provided. When we arrived at the post office to activate the box, the employee at the front desk told us there was no P.O. Box set up for that day—which was confusing, as we had completed the reservation online. He told us to come back the next day.
When we returned, the atmosphere was unprofessional—two employees at the counter were arguing with each other, and the woman who assisted us seemed unsure of how to activate the P.O. Box. Eventually, the manager, Ryan, stepped in. He assigned us a P.O. Box that already had someone else’s mail in it, which was both concerning and confusing. On top of that, he charged us another $188—even though we had already paid that amount during the online reservation. No clear explanation was given for the duplicate charge, other than a vague instruction to contact USPS Customer Service for a refund, and that the refund should take no more than 1-3 business days.
We were also told that the box we were being given wasn’t technically “reservable,” but that he was going to assign it to us anyway. Again, this made little sense. The communication throughout the entire process was unclear and contradictory.
After leaving the post office, we immediately called USPS Customer Service, as instructed. However, the representative told us that refunds do not take 1–3 business days, and even more confusingly, she claimed that our online payment of $188 had not posted—despite the fact that my bank statement clearly shows the charge went through.
At this point, we’ve followed all the steps asked of us, only to be misinformed, charged twice, and left unsure whether our P.O. Box is even functional. This has been an incredibly frustrating and disappointing experience, and we still don’t have clarity on whether we’ll receive mail at this box—or ever see a refund.
Very disappointing.

The best post office staff. If you were in this post office and the little man was recording you his YouTube channel is amagansett press. You have all rights to file a privacy complaint to YouTube and the video has to be altered or taken down. And the other camera there is watching the watchmen. Both of those channels.

Consistently poor service and revolving door of employees who do not receive the training they need or know how to preform their job in

Many reviews discuss issues with this post office, which I do understand. But, for a small team handling the amount they do every day, they do so very well. Rian is one of the hardest working people I have ever met. Everyone who works there, as long you treat them with respect, will return the same to you. I run a re-shipping business and have ordered over 200 small packages in just a few months through this post. They have not lost a single one. Just be patient - we live in the mountains.

Horrible Post Office staff and even worst of a Postmaster. They will violate rights, lie, worst of all think that they are the authority over a federally funded and protected building.
Please remember, you can’t make up your own rules when it violates someone’s constitutionally protected rights. Especially on federal property.

Worst post office ever. They move like snails and have no desire to help. They are ALWAYS at least 2 days behind so dont pick up your package when you get a notification it's there, because it won't be there. UPDATE: After 7 trips to the PO in a span of 3 days, the result is they lost my package.

I'd like to compliment Rian from the Silverthorne CO post office. He goes above and beyond EVERY SINGLE TIME we have a problem.
Please give the gentleman a raise!
Sincerely,
Zach & Mallory Ostrander (PO Box 581)

Pitiful display from the employees. Ignorant on postal policy, and the Constitution. Disgusting behavior.

This is the place where I get all my mail in my PO Box and I have sent packages to the Silverthorne Post office address. 518 Brian Ave (Unit Box number), Silverthorne, CO 80497. The packages always are there and the staff is super friendly. I noticed they have an employee cleaning and sweeping there more often now. They have been short staffed but Ryan is full time and very pleasant to deal with.

HORRIBLE SERVICE! I don't know why they allow the red headed kid to be customer facing. I came in with a question and he answered and before I could ask a follow up question he walked away! I will be getting rid of the PO BOX there IMMEDIATELY

Employees are rude and condescending, and do not respect the rules regulating behavior in the Post Office

Never been to a more rude and unhelpful USPS. Don’t use this location if you can avoid it. Frisco USPS is super helpful and friendly, even when overwhelmed.

This USPS branch has a special 10K prize event for anyone who goes inside and films the staff. They will trespass you , which is illegal, and then you sue the municipality for a caseload
I’m not joking google the name of this town vs. Amagansett press and you’ll see what I’m saying is true
