“I had some bad personal experiences with Warhammer as a kid, and kinda always shunned the game. But a friend convinced me to check the game out, and to visit the store and play a game or two.Ken, the person who greeted me, couldn't have been better at making the environment inviting, without hovering or smothering, and answering all of my questions earnestly. And I ask some rather esoteric questions, rapidly, and randomly.The first time I went, I didn't buy anything and he was okay with that. Tbh my friend and I were really tired and I didn't really have a fun game of Kill Team. But I listened and watched Ken interact with customers, curious onlookers, and such, each one made to feel welcomed, interacted with individually, and with an intelligence and a very open honesty that is quite refreshing to me. I came back the next weekend, and Ken helped me and my spouse make some excellent purchases, and I had a blast playing my first 40k game today! “Until a few years ago, I was a regular at these Liberty Puzzles. I live in Boulder and watched this company develop the most wonderful wooden jigsaw puzzles. But a few years ago, I became vision impaired to the point that I could no longer drive. And unfortunately, I found I could no longer do the regular puzzles. I bought a couple of the larger piece puzzles, designed for children and did each one, then disassembled them before gifting to my granddaughter. But there were only a few adult enough in design. My granddaughter can do them with minimal help at 7. The first one I gave her, when I still had normal vision, I could do in 20 minutes. The pieces are bigger. The one I got her this year, with impaired vision, took me several hours. Just for reference. I have built dozens and gifted many. Some of ours are framed in their special puzzle frames and hang in our house. Others are on display on shelves and bookcase tops. Many have been passed along to friends and relatives. Just as I was dealing with this, it turns out that they were developing a new line of puzzles, made for those with various technical difficulties like mine or those with dexterity issues. The pieces, just as intricate with lots of whimsy units, are about twice the normal size, similar to the children's puzzles, but art themed for adults. Given the chance to sample one, as a long time customer with changing needs, I so enjoyed the puzzle, I bought more. I now have the opportunity to continue one of my hobbies, having lost so many others. Just like audiobooks, I now use for reading, I have a puzzle option back too. Right now they have some choices on their website, but I am hoping the collection will grow. Just look in the section for "Silver Edition." There are so many of us in this situation and this company has responded. If you ever come to Boulder, stop in and get a tour as I described in my earlier review. It is amazing how they are made.”

“Visited on 16-Oct-2023 during school fall break. There are a few free parking spots in front, and I think there is a lot out back. The woman working here was very patient and knowledgeable about MTG, the primary purpose of the visit. A large supply of cards at varying price points. Market values at the standard(?) trading rates w/re store credit. My son spent way too much (of everyone's) time putting together a commander deck, but the staff graciously made it happen, even making suggestions to improve that deck and others (tron?). My son forgot a box of cards on a table, and the clerk ran out to our car with them in hand before we drove off. A+ Oh, and a common card filing system from an old library. "Oh, that was in Ghostbusters", is how my son recognized it.”

“This past Friday I had the most pleasant experience at Tebo Coin. I have had some coins that belonged to my father in law for over thirty years and had talked to a few coin places and none of them seemed to be where I needed to go. Then I sold some gold about a year ago and asked about selling coins and he told me the only place to go would be to Tebo in Boulder. So to Tebo Coin I went. Tim was the main gentleman helping me and he was training a gentleman by the name of James. The knowledge Tim possessed was most impressive to my husband and me. It took about a third of the time I thought it would and I ended up with them paying more than I thought they would. Also I did not get the owners/managers name but he was equally as concerned that all was going well. I can not recommend this place enough. They are professional, warm and pleasant to work with. “I've been here multiple times and each visit has been great. The staff is very friendly and helpful, and they're all just really nice people. I've purchased books, gifts, journals, all kinds of things here. In October I purchased a really nice leather journal for my daughter, and even though she's written in a fair amount of it, it's not showing any wear, which is awesome. I wanted something that would last her a long time and it looks like I made the right choice.And I cannot stress this enough so it bears repeating - the staff is wonderful. All very friendly, they've chatted with myself and my children, and seem very genuine. I haven't had a bad experience at all. I do miss the little cafe, but otherwise, it's a great bookstore.”

“So I don't frequent craft stores. And I'll be up front and honest when I went in it was for a very hyper specific item that they happen to be out of at the time. But I was a bit taken back by how clean the store was. How well organized everything was. How friendly the staff that attempted to help me were. It truthfully made me forget they didn't have the item I needed. That said they had a HUGE amount of other items so there is a very likely chance that they will have what you need. Mine just happen to be super specific so I can't hold it against them really.”
