Devil's Thumb Ranch Resort & Spa is a beautiful, calm, and magnificent property set in breathtaking surroundings. The rustic rooms and cabins are comfortable, well furnished, and offer beautiful views. Guests enjoy endless outdoor activities, including fantastic horseback riding, excellent hiking trails, archery, hatchet-throwing, and a zip line. The spa experience is world class and relaxing. The many paths allow for walks across meadows and to ponds. Dining is a highlight for many, with superb, delicious, and incredible gourmet meals. The Ranch House restaurant receives consistent praise. However, service at the Tavern restaurant is frequently criticized, with reports of long waits, wrong orders, poor coordination, and inattentive staff, though some found the food delicious and the wait reasonable. The staff is generally described as warm, welcoming, and friendly, though the resort sometimes feels understaffed. Minor critiques include housekeeping that isn't always thorough and early closing times for bars and restaurants. Overall, it is a highly recommended, cool, and unique place with a magical experience.

Overall, we love DTR! Great location, fantastic XC trails, friendly and helpful staff (front desk staff could use a bit more training). Daily free yoga and spa were fantastic. Food and service overall very good. We hope to go back next year!

We spent a spectacular weekend skiiing, and fat biking, soaking and just taking in the views of the valley and peaks at Devil's Thumb Ranch. Already looking forward to our next stay.
