The spicy tuna roll and drinks were delicious. The food was good albeit a little pricey for what we ordered. A beet salad was $18 and it was a side salad, not a full dinner portion. We also ordered the steak filet and the roasted chicken and both were very good with fresh sides. I loved the polenta with the chicken! When we arrived it didn't appear there was a dedicated host, or if there was, she was running around extremely busy taking phone orders, clearing off tables and trying to check in guests. She ended up checking us in, apologized profusely, and proceeded to clear our table and reset it herself. Not sure what the hierarchy is but there were quite a few servers, what looked like a bus boy and several staff that seemed like they could have picked up the slack at the beginning of the early dinner rush (5:45pm). Overall everything we ordered came out quickly and we were in an out in less than an hour.

Scallops are amazing. Food is always good. Service was good. We were a large group and got sushhed by another table and wait staff did nothing to move them to a more suitable location.

Our server was amazing! She had a great sense of humor and made our dining experience fun. The food was great and the crème brûlée and chocolate mousse cake was a perfect ending.

The atmosphere at Cosmopolitan is festive and fun. The service was exemplary. My husband had a steak (cooked perfectly) I had the duck breast. Wonderful combination of flavors. Warm blueberry pie with ice cream was the highlight of the night.

The restaurant has an elegant, modern ambience and is conveniently located near the gondola. The food was creative and delicious, from the seafood stew to the duroc pork made two-ways to the wild Maine blueberry pie with sour cream ice cream. It was a nice way to spend our last evening in Telluride. We'll be sure to visit again.

Amazing food, great service and cozy chic ambiance. Everything we tried on the menu was spectacular, especially the surf and turf and blueberry pie with sour cream ice cream! Our server was super kind and helpful. It gets quite busy, so recommend making g a reservation. We absolutely plan to go back!

Another fabulous dining experience at Cosmo! We have been dining here for over 20 years and never had a bad experience. Always consistent, always receive great service (Rob was especially great this time). Thank you for accommodating my food allergies so carefully. We will be back again and again :)

Every time I dine at Cosmos either with friends or family or a combination I realize why it is one of Telluride ‘s most reliable, consistent and grand experience. I would highly recommend it if you've never been and I would highly recommend going again if it's been a while.

Let's start with the positives. The room is warm, inviting and nicely open given it's somewhat narrow footprint. We sat perched at the upper section ledge where we could see the seating areas below, very nice. The food was quite good though, since we had apps at our condo, only had main courses. Then, because of the weak service, skipped dessert but our mains were well plated and tasty. I had the 1/2 chicken with polenta, arugula (which doubled as a salad) and it was pounded flat, generously flavored with rosemary and other herbs, excellent. Wife had the duck breast which she enjoyed very much.Where this meal fell apart...service was inattentive and at 8:30pm the place was busy but not packed. Finally the seemingly experienced server gentlemen took our wine order (glasses this evening). At least 15 minutes later, my wife's wine showed up with an explanation that what I ordered wasn't avail. He left me the menu to alternate select. 10 minutes later took my new selection. 10 minutes later our main courses were served and I still had no wine glass. 5 minutes later he came by and said they somehow found my original selection for which he oddly wanted some sort of reward for the amazing effort (when all I wanted was my wine 35 minutes prior). No offer to comp it, no offer for a comp dessert and most importantly NO apology for the 45 minute wait for a glass of wine and disappearing for long periods; inattentive. My last negative seems to be a better Telluride restaurant issue and something seen around the country here and there. The tack on a 4% extra fee with different, inconsistent names. These are not cheap restaurants. If you want to pay your back kitchen staff more, CHARGE MORE. I won't notice or care. But tack on an extra 4% "hospitality" or whatever fee and expect me to then add a 20%-25% tip? INSULTING. Not playing that game. Charge anything you want but skip the B. Tip REDUCED!

We had a fabulous, early dinner last Friday before the TAB event. Absolutely loved the the plant-based Thai dish. I want that recipe!!!Vegetarian options: Typically there is one main vegetarian option and other starters or sides that will fullfill the plant-based requirements

Extraordinary! Excellent apps, main courses are very shareable, strong wine list and love half bottle option. Impeccable service which is so nice to see the operation working seamlessly. Cannot recommend this restaurant more!! It truly is one of our top dining experiences we have ever had!
