Count me dissatisfied. The on-mountain photo-taking experience itself was fine. So if all you want are the digital copies for $250, OK. However, my experience dealing with the shop at Mountain Village (someone named Bob in particular) was so negative that I would suggest you take your business elsewhere. Also the quality of the frame I received (called barn wood) was so cheap + it was the wrong size + the glass shattered during shipping. A poor value and a worse customer experience working with them to try to fix it. I don't think I've ever posted a public negative review before, but my experience was so bad that I feel compelled to do so in this case.

Count me dissatisfied that for a $35 5x7 print purchase a digital file copy is not included. Can't recommend what I consider a ripoff. Photographer did a nice job with the pics, though.

Beautiful place to visit. Well worth the annual membership to go many times during the year.

This business is a scam. Please do not let them take your photos. They advertise free portraits and then ask for an outrageous amount of money for them.

Our first time to Telluride and we wanted to capture our time on the slopes with some images. I thought we would get the standard shot with our boards and the mountains in the background (which I would have been happy with) but we got so much more. Chris and Neil did a complete mini photo shoot with us and we ended up with so many great images. Both were so nice and even helped my son get all his gear back in order when we were done with the pictures. They had us do some goofy family shots but they ended up being some of my favorites. Can't wait to see the final product when it gets shipped to us in a few weeks! Thanks for helping us capture some great memories!

Have purchased many photos from Elevation over the years. They have photographers located around the mountain taking portraits and action photos. Sessions are free. Prints can be pricey but understandable as this is the manner in which the business makes money. Photographers have captured some memorable moments of our family over the years.

Bob Perry the owner refused to pay my son his wages. He kept his wallet, skis and other personal property. Only released his wallet after police were called and arrived. Crooked. You have to ask yourself, when you pay a young man to take your family picture I assume you believe that part of that money actually goes to the employee.
