What an amazing experience! Scott, the owner of the store, gave my friends and I a lovely tour of the gallery consisting of breathtaking art, fully functioning jukeboxes and arcade games from the 50's, and many more surprises around every turn. This is a MUST SEE in Telluride. Will definitely be our first stop next time we're down in town!

If you've ever been to Telluride, then you know that it is full of pleasant surprises. This gallery is SUCH a gem. I'd think so in any town, but finding it in telluride makes this already incredible place that much more special. They have all types of treasures at many price ranges -- I have bought our most amazing pieces for our home, including my favorite piece of art and the coolest outdoor swing you have ever seen, AND it's my go-to for a hostess gift or housewarming. It's also family owned, which I love. And you'll probably run into more than just Mark, the owner. He is knowledgeable, friendly, and while he'll happily spend hours with you,you never feel like you are being pressured to buy.I highly recommend this to anyone who wants to mix it up and get a little indulgence and elegance without any of the attitude that comes with it sometimes!

The collection at this gallery is gorgeous and unique! Everything is absolutely stunning! I definitely recommend stopping by, especially if you are looking for some beautiful pieces for your home! Scott is super nice and helpful, a real joy to be around! They authentically want you to love what you are taking home and that is a rare characteristic to encounter these days! Enjoy!

Love love love everything about this place. The owner, Mark, has amazing taste and curates unique and spectacular pieces from all over. It is a must for anyone looking to see what's so special about Telluride that doesn't include uncomfortable footwear, losing your breath, and a mountain. Altho there are some incredible floor to ceiling wall coverings in there right now that I have my eye on.

My girlfriend and I visited Telluride for the first time this weekend and fell in love with every aspect of the town. Our visit with Goldmountain Gallery is one we will never forget. Friday night we were staring at the pieces from outside and Scott noticed us and kindly opened back up to let us in and inquire about some of the pieces. The stories and one of a kind art work that was displayed was breathtaking. We spotted a hat that was destined to be ours but would return the following day to purchase. When we went back we met Mark who was very welcoming and was just as entertaining and enthusiastic as Scott when it came to his collection and passion for art. We bonded as we realized we were both in the custom business and love serving the need of our clients. We ended up purchasing the hat and what a fun add on that tequila was available as a celebratory good bye. I find the review above very interesting (stating they felt discriminated). I am Hispanic and neither Mark or Scott made my age, skin color or anything associated with my image to be deemed as discriminatory so I find this so hard to believe but each person must identify with their own experience. I would highly recommend going and seeing firsthand how these men treat you. One thing is for sure, every time I make a visit I’ll be sure to stop by! Thanks Scott and Mark!

This is not somewhere I would shop. It appears that others have recently had bad experiences.

As i walked in i was NOT greeted by two gentlemen, eating lunch. Unprofessional. I went to sit on a piece with my wife and was immediately snapped at ( judged ) by one gentleman saying, "If you don't plan on buying please don't sit on the furniture". I was never so offended and embarrassed by such individuals in what i though was a respectable establishment . Customer lost. if you are un upscale dealer you should never treat a person let alone a potential buyer as we were treated. I recommend anyone thinking of buying should consider this establishments lack of moral fiber. I'd like to think were all equal but i left bitter, wondering if my skin color had anything to do with their quick judgement of my ability to purchase. A real blemish in such a beautiful town.
