Thankyou, ski patrol dude. I sprained my knee a week ago and have been trying to gently ski and exercise it; I was slowly hiking up to mountain quail today, I got to the top (last of the hikers), and screwed up and dropped my pole which fell 30 yards down towards Alta Lakes; I was going to leave it because I was uncomfortable hiking down the steep convex slope where I couldn't see very far. He hiked down and grabbed it for me. Thank you very much; I should've asked for your name. I appreciate it!!

We had a great experience. A huge thank you to Charles from Down Valley with guest services. He said” it’s my job to ski and be nice to people”. He did that and more leading us down the mountain to pick up a sick kid from ski school. Thanks for great weekend!

Great ski area, can be quite busy depending on the day of the week and snow conditions but overall fun place. The downtown is beautiful with tons of shops and restaurants.Easily accessible from SLC.

Beautiful place, lots of things to see, we went on a tram up her and the view was worth it. (Most of the pics are DURING the trip, in case anyone's confused)

Do NOT work here if you are a woman. Deplorable working conditions.

The terrain is amazing. Such a poorly run resort though.

Small village full of private rentals, restaurants, bars and ice skating in the winter. Something for everyone on the top of the mountain. Free Gondola ? which takes 12 min to downtown Telluride. Special mountain top village at 13,500 feet. Take small oxygen cans , buy at market as oxygen is tough this high and drink water all day

What a great ski mountain town. We got over a foot of powder in the last 24hrs and it made for a spectacular day of boarding!

Excellent skiing, with varied terrain, between Telluride and Mountain Village, with a free gondola connecting the two. 8th largest ski area in CO, never that crowded (especially compared to any of the resorts nearer to the front range), great variety of terrains from chill green runs to more intermediate blues to extreme blacks. Super scenic. Lift tickets are expensive. Telluride is an amazing mountain town.
