Ordered the breakfast burrito, even though I ate in they still served one of their premade burritos. The wrap was soggy and stuck to the foil. The sausage tasted undercooked. Overall it was very disappointing. Other items looked better. Next time if I go back I will try one of them

My wife and I stopped in for Sunday morning breakfast and we got lucky that two people were leaving their seats at the bar right when we walked in. This place draws a crowd and the line was always 5-15 people long. The baked items looked amazing. We at breakfast at the bar. The server was personable, the food and drinks were tasty. I thought the prices were very fair for Telluride. I highly recommend. It looked tough to find seating and I think that would be frustrating for people and could sway a review. If you find seating I think you'll be pleased. Insider note: locals were skipping the long line and asking the bartenders for bakery items to go. The bartenders would bag up their items and check them out promptly.

I have been to Telluride several times for the film festival and after discovering this restaurant (specifically the kale salad), I get it once a day. It can also be made to go which is perfect for waiting in line or tight windows between films. However, I dock a star because the service is a little inconsistent. Once, when I clearly ordered the veg version with tofu, they brought a dish with both tofu and chicken. When I requested the change, they brought back a dish which I'm pretty sure was the same thing with the chicken taken off as it was way too quick to make a full new one. Also, I've been served at the bar without having to wait in line but other times been scolded by the staff for attempting this. Also, you have to wait in the line even to buy one of their grab and go items which simply doesn't make sense. The salad itself is great. Service, a tad questionable.

Amazing food and coffee. I had the ham and Swiss croissant. Life changing. Latte was the best I’ve ever had!

This place has a lot of great food, and the sandwiches are fresh. They should have more vegan options.

As someone who lives in Telluride and works in the industry as a chef, I love having the Butcher and the Baker in town. It’s my go-to- to both sit and catch up with a friend over lunch or even just breakfast on the go. I LOVE the sausage breakfast burrito with the sweet potato inside. My fav for sure. The ambience is always upbeat and the food is always fresh. Best pastries too! Be sure to add it to your list if visiting Telluride!

Laptop-free Zone ? and no WIFI ?If you are planning to have breakfast or lunch and get a few emails out, think again.Service is nice and, of course, very fast as fast as they expect you to eat and be on your way.The food is nothing to comment about.

The last time I visited Telluride was 1995, and the locals were already complaining that it was getting inundated. But I could still sit and read or write (by hand, this was pre-laptops for the most part) even at the height of the season and nobody would care. I’d inevitably run into someone I’d met in my 10 or so day visit. I feel bad for anyone who has to deal with the winter mob these days! That said, the food is good, it’s a nice place if you don’t mind passive-aggressive eye battles over, like, chairs

Great restaurant on the Main Street in Telluride. Service was great. Staff were all super friendly. A little bit of a small space for as many people as they serve but I would certainly return.

Clearly a very popular spot. The line was out the door when we showed up at 10ish. The coffee was worth the wait though, tried the vanilla latte with oat milk, it was delicious. I'd recommend getting it iced, the flavor is more pronounced.

As a breakfast aficionado I’d say this is the best breakfast sandwich I’ve ever had - the mushroom and Swiss sandwich on an English muffin with fried egg and kale! The mushroom and melted Swiss cheese is so earthy and flavorful! The English muffin is clearly freshly baked in house, which has an amazing texture! Together they make every bite so satisfying! The wait staff is also super friendly, and my food was brought to me within minutes!Overall, this is a must-try place when you’re in Telluride!
