My rating is possibly skewed by end of season challenges, but overall this was a disappointing experience. They were out of many things on the menu, and what we were served was just okay. Perhaps it's better during the peak months of ski season? Sad given the convenient location and warm, nostalgic decor - just not sure we'll return to give it a second try.

Had breakfast and the restaurant was understaffed, expecially in the kitchen. Kirby, my server, handled the 'back up' with grace and professionalism and helped salvage the experience.

I'm sorry to say but it was the worst food and the worst service we have ever had! Very long wait to order and get our food. The food was terrible very salty over cooked and some food was unidentifiable.

Our server was awesome! Kirby will take great care of you and make you laugh as well! The food was ok- shared the calamari, my husband had the burger and I had the trout. The side pasta was really good!

This little hotel lobby restaurant far exceeded our expectations. The halibut was delicious, as was the panko chicken sandwich. The service was excellent and the kitchen staff thanked us more than once for coming. It made us feel special. We definitely recommend this for a low key, quiet, casual dinner in Telluride.

Unfortunately, this was not a great experience. There is not a true dining room. Everyone with a reservation was seated in the bar area, where the lights were fully up and the tvs were playing. This is also connected to the lobby of the hotel, so just a strange layout. The bartender and host were carrying on a very large conversation about their compensation. The food was fast but nothing special. I would not recommend.

Poor, annoyed service. Only excuse would be that they were short staffed. Server gave us the impression he couldn't be bothered with us. Took our drink order and hurried off before we had a chance to order an appetizer. Drinks were not refilled without having to explicitly ask. My son ordered the burger and requested without onion. The server said, You can pick it off. Trying to make it simple in the kitchen tonight.” He was happy to add the bacon for $3.00 but couldn't bother the kitchen with no onion. Because I was using a credit card I was told I needed to checkout at the hotel front desk. As I was in line at the front desk the other server came up to run the credit cards of the tables she was serving. Food was okay...the chicken sandwich and the Gyro were dry. Plenty of options in Telluride with better food and friendlier service.

Menu limited. No vegetarian options at all! It's 2023! Very small restaurant with no atmosphere. Waitress was unhelpful. This is the first time I have written a bad review having been with OpenTable for 13 years

This restaurant is not reflective of the high scores given on Open Table. Something must have changed over time. It is more comparable to a typical mid-range chain hotel restaurant with ~10 brightly lit tables jammed into the corner of the hotel reception / foyer area. The menu was a complete bait-and-switch with the main courses. The Open Table menu has three exceptional vegetarian plates (angel hair pasta w charred vegetables and goat cheese, parpardelle Al funghi, and spaghetti squash with ancient grains and winter greens). None of these are actually available. In fact, there are no vegetarian main courses or appetizers available at all (with the exception of salad). The 2 waiters were friendly and doing their best, but this was simply not the 4.6 star experience we expected.

Our dinner was a mixed bag. For appetizers we got the burrata salad, Caesar salad, and calamari. The calamari were a bit fishy tasting. The burrata and Caesar salads were ok. For mains, we got a Wagyu burger, halibut and trout. The burger was solid, but nothing special. The halibut was pretty good as were the mashed potatoes. However, the broccolini was practically raw. The trout was also good, but it was on pasta with an Alfredo type sauce that was a bit greasy (not creamy). Finally, the service was slow as they had only two servers for the room and bar, which seemed overwhelming for them. The restaurant was adjacent to the hotel lobby and felt more like an extension of a lobby than a separate restaurant. So an average experience overall, but with Telluride prices.

Amazing trout dinners expertly prepared by Chefs Arturo and Bud. Served with pappardelle Alfredo, carrots and garnished with micro greens. Very pleasant bistro atmosphere with a rustic Colorado flair. Nice attentive service.

Mark was very attentive. Love that he read my reservation request for a vegetarian entrée option and came over to the table to describe the veggie entrée option. Two of us ended up ordering it! And, it was delicious. Also loved the burrata salad. Definitely will come back.

There was no NA beer available and the house salad was very plain- these may be things important to me but not others. The entrees were very good. We waited 10-15 minutes for our check after the waitress said she would get it, so we went up to the cash register/bar ourselves. It had gotten busy, but still...
