“Words can't fully express my gratitude for Dr. Smolen and his team. Dr. Smolen is extremely knowledgeable, thoughtful, caring, friendly and attentive. It's been a year since my last visit with Dr. Smolen as i've moved out of state and one of the hardest parts about moving was no longer getting to keep him as my vet!I witnessed him go above and beyond to provide the best medical care for my dog when we walked in on a busy day with a life threatening emergency. Prior to that day I wasn't an existing client and even during such an unstable situation I believed that my dog was in the best care he could be in. Dr. Smolen clearly explained updates to me each step of the way and guided me through the options. When it came time to bring my dog home after a few days, he followed up with us periodically during recovery and answered any questions when I had concerns. Dr. Smolen, his techs and office staff genuinely care and it shows.I rarely write reviews but this one was long overdue. “Thank you so much for seeing us last minute and getting my Bri looked at. We are relieved to be able to start her on some antibiotics to treat a UTI. Nothing can be more scary than to see your dog in pain, especially in a new place. We were road tripping and camping and came to Telluride for two nights when my French Bulldog started urinating blood. I panicked knowing it was a Friday afternoon and we still have a long drive back home. Thankfully they saw us and helped right away.”
