This is in a great location about 25 minutes from Denver Airport right off I25. Top Golf is just down the road and the Denver Outlets and other shopping are very close. The hotel rooms are in great shape and the service at the front desk was excellent. Parking is a bit lacking. A few other things led to this not being a 5 star stay. The pantry was lacking in options for beverages, snacks, etc. in the lobby. Inside the room everything was clean however, the showerhead needs to be descaled but I do like that it was a handheld one. The bed is a bit firm for my liking but with all IHG properties I usually love the pillows and linens. The soft pillows were perfect but the "hard" pillows were lumpy and not like other IHG properties I've stayed at. The sheets need replacing as well. They are pretty thin and are pilled up badly from many washes. I will say, of all the hotels, I wish I could replicate the freshness of the bath towels and the linens, everything smelled clean. The bath towels were perfect. Just the bed linens and pillows could use replacing. Lastly, I was on the first floor so it was a bit noisy on a Saturday night with people walking above and doors closing but that's typical of a hotel on a weekend. If you're super sensitive to noises I'd suggest requesting to stay on the top floor.

It was very difficult to find this place, a twisting road through an unexpected tunnel brings you here. There is not much to say after that. The place has seen better days, long ago.

Overall hotel was comfortable and clean but staff needs more training and rooms need to be serviced more often . I stayed for 5 days and had to go to front desk daily for towels, I had also asked them to replace bathroom light which was burnt out my entire stay . I had asked front desk to have my room serviced on my third day and they said they would add me to their list but never came and the next day they just said they were too busy so the trash and old towels just piled up .Rooms: Comfortable but only serviced when you check in and outWalkability: Close to lots of restaurants and shoppingFood & drinks: Hotel does not offer breakfast or have a restaurant but does have a pantry to buy small snacks and drinks

The hotel and room were super clean! The room had everything a traveler may need. The kitchen had pans, silverware, cups, dishes, cooking utensils, etc. that was great! Staff were friendly and check-in was quick and easy. Property is in a safe area with access to shopping centers and dinning places. The only thing lacking is breakfast. They have free coffee and snacks for sale . But some continental breakfast would be nice. Overall great hotel, will be staying here again!

This hotel is a shit hole. Would never recommend staying here. Room was filthy, smelled musty, has the loud air conditioner wall units and there was garbage sitting out in the hall when we got there and was still there when we left. I highly recommend the Hilton Garden next door - wish we had stayed there :-(

First off Connie and Shianne are amazing! This place is super clean and very comfortable. Mall is within walking distance and lots of places to eat in the area. Highly recommended location. Definitely my favorite IHG hotel.

The rooms look clean and appear exactly expected. But I did not expect a refrigerator in the room that was a featured actor in THE SHINING or, at least it should have been - because its loud moaning and groaning (sort of like if The Yeti were snoring in your room) prevents anyone from sleeping. So if you need to STAY AWAKE ALL NIGHT this is the hotel for you!

The check in process was quick and the staff up front were polite and professional. I was impressed with how well stocked the rooms are, including silverware, coffee pots, dish washers, a small rangetop, and even dishes. The layout of the room (Single King Bed) is spacious and warm, and the Dove Brand body wash and Shampoo felt like an upgrade from other hotels’ hygiene. The pillows are full and comfortable, the room was clean and the grounds out front and in the guest areas were well maintained. Something to be mindful of, is the windows do not have blackout drapes or blinds, only sheer curtains. It’s good to know, as the parking lot is directly outside. Anyone out there can see a full view into the room if the TV or lights are on. Im not lying when I tell u this place is a STEAL for the price. I gladly would have paid double what I did. If you’re in the Thornton Area, or even a bit further away, stay here. You will be very glad you did. Thank you very much, Candlewood. We’ll definitely be back!

Apologies, this is a lengthy review, but I wanted to get all the details. Please read. On 10-13 we spoke to the front desk about extending our stay as we thought we were booked through the weekend. We were not. Not a big deal as it was an oversight on our part. The front desk told me that the hotel was all booked for the weekend. They asked me to call back in the morning and could maybe have cancellations and we could take one of the cancellation spots. I called the front desk around 9:00am on 10-14-22 and was told by the manager on duty that they were able to let us stay and extended our reservation! So we got ready, left for the day hiking to celebrate my girlfriend's birthday. We got back to the hotel around 2:30ish that afternoon to shower and get get ready for our movie reservations. We received a phone call from the hotel room phone around 5:00pm. My girlfriend answered and was told that we needed to vacate the property as quickly as possible because they overbooked the hotel! Confused, I got on the phone with someone from the front desk (she never would give me her name but said she was the current general manager) she simply asked how long I needed to get out of the room, not allowing me to ask questions or listen to reason. I told her we could leave by the morning and were willing to do that. She said they were overbooked and we had 30 minutes to pack our stuff and leave! I told her that wasn't possible, she then threatened to call the police if not out within 30 minutes!!! YES, WE WERE GIVEN 30 MINUTES NOTICE TO PACK UP AND LEAVE A HOTEL ROOM WE WERE ALREADY STAYING IN AT 5:30 PM !!!! This was not physically possible. After I walked to the front desk, obviously upset, she admitted they overbooked, said we were given incorrect information by the day manager, and needed to leave and that the police were on the way. Thrown out like trash due to their incompetency!! And YES, WE HAD ALREADY BEEN THERE 2 WEEKS in the room! ALL DUE TO THEM OVERBOOKING!! No security, no safety, I felt helpless as I was told the police were on the way. The police were very kind, agreed with me....but told us that the hotel could "trespass" us and they might have to take some sort of action if that happened. There are no federal laws to protect us and I didn't know the state laws. So we agreed, under threat of being arrested due to "trespassing" YES a TRESPASSING THREAT!!! We packed up and left the hotel. This is the WORST experience ever. I've heard of being walked and overbooking nightmares once someone shows up to check in.....but to be kicked out DURING one's stay?! Absolutely ludicrous, unprofessional, disgusting, zero ethics. I don't understand how this can happen. BE CAREFUL STAYING HERE! You just might get a knock on the door mid stay and be asked to leave at any moment, room paid or not!! I attempted to get ahold of corporate but was unsuccessful as the manager would not give me her name. She NEEDS TO BE FIRED ASAP. I am pursuing this further legally if I can. And suggestions would be greatly helpful. Thank you for reading

This 5 start review is for Elizabeth at front counter. She is friendly and appears to be the only one working here. Candlewood needs to hang on to this young lady and treat her right . She was even doing laundry. Housekeeping only once a week?

Young man at front desk got us checked in promptly. Was very kind. Place was clean. Blankets smelled clean and fresh. No pool, but that's OK. Wish there was a play area for kids. Very nice stay

It was the nicest place I ever stayed, it had eveything I needed in the room. My wife said she could have lived there!
