All Canvas Credit Unions need a Teller like Joesph !! He was fast, fun & friendly. He listened and showed interest in my situation. Besides the location is ideal and modern. I will use this Canvas in the future.

They consistently try to place 10 day holds on checks I try to deposit. I was told today they could release about 7% of my overall check and the rest would release in 5 days. Look at the receipt, check release is in 10 days. When questioned, the teller rudely told me it was business days. That date still doesn't equal 5 business days. Assistant leader was not very helpful. She was the one that graciously gave my 7% of MY money. She did change the hold date to a true 5 business days. But, this was after she told me to go to the originating bank and get money from them there was nothing else she would do for me. Looking for a new bank at this point. Beware!!

Every time I have entered the building, I was greeted with a cheerful “Hello, May I help you”, or “We’ll be with you in a moment”. The “tellers” work from a kiosk style workstation which makes the transaction a bit more personalized…. I actually have my account at another CU, (Alliant) but am treated like professionally and respectfully at Canvas

Just got charged thirty dollars to be told my ach transaction would not be honored due to non sufficient funds. Funny thing is they wait until you don’t have the funds to start the ach so they can charge you the fee. The bill they didn’t pay and charged me to tell me was processed by the company I owed the money to on the 30th so because they don’t update your balance you are at risk for this fee every time you use ach transactions to pay bills. They also have a weird relationship with Zelle and every other bank I’ve had that used Zelle never gave me issues. They will claim Zelle hasn’t released money when it’s been sent. There’s one point in time I was told my money way on the “slow boat” and had to wait 4-5 business days.

Canvas Credit Union has three accounts of mine now! I love how easy it is to get accounts set up and they are FREE! Dora did a great job, quick and easy. All the employees are very personable. Credit unions are the best! Forget big banks!

After 30+years at another Credit Union, my husband and I made the partial switch to Canvas. The branch is near 1-25 and Washington in Thornton,Co.
I can’t say enough about Patty that helped us in every way possible. She is so personable, knowledgeable, patient and very easy to talk to and ask questions of. We have used this branch before many times as a shared branch with our former credit union and have always been greeted with smiles and helpful bank employees.
Patty is the reason we will soon make the final phase of transferring all of our banking needs to Canvas.
On our following visit we were disappointed when asking for Patty to help us with something only to be greeted by Dora, who was just as easy to talk to and just as helpful.
We know we made the right decision and are hopeful that Canvas will continue to keep the best employees and customer service.
We were sent a survey about our joining Canvas and also our follow up visit but ran out of time to fill and email our comments.
Please acknowledge Patty and Dora for easing our concerns and making it a relaxing and even fun experience.

Wasted 2 hours of my time.Made sure to ask several times that I would have access to Zelle and what my intentions with the business account would be.Finally at the end after the account was already made I asked to see the Zelle feature on the canvas app and was first told that I would have to wait a month.Than after questioning that was told that they no longer have the Zelle feature.Felt like they just made my account to reach a quota.My time was wasted,I was lied to and they didn’t seem to care.

I always have had easy and efficient experiences whenever I come into the branch. Patty E in particular helped my mother and I remove each other off of our accounts, and provided nothing but excellent customer service, kindness, and fast service! She is amazing at what she does, and one of the best canvas members I have interacted with in my 10+ years of banking with the credit union.
All in all, I love this new office. Although I do feel bad that the workers do not have chairs. I personally know from my own field of work how it feels to not have chairs (health care) so let those people sit lol.

I don’t appreciate poor customer service. The tellers at this branch need to be taught how to communicate and welcome guests. I was barely acknowledged or spoken to. I said hi, didn’t get a hi back. I hate going into Canvas these days because it always seems that the tellers don’t like their job or people. I have been a member for 25 years (since I was a teen) and the service has gone downhill. I am definitely considering finding another bank/credit union. I realize that good customer service is hard to come but these days but tolerating it will not fix the situation. Also- if tellers who are face-to-face with customers, are sick, wear a mask or stay home… so rude and selfish!!!!!!
