Customer service at the Thornton branch is top notch! Been a member for many, many years and have dealt with loans, lines of credit, checking and savings...they even have an account for your child. All have been patient, kind and resourceful.

Edit: They reached out and very appropriately handled the situation I had with not being reached out so if you have problems, just go higherI appreciate that they took the time to contact me and assess my situation regarding the last review I left.I still feel it’s much easier to go to a dealership then trying an auto loan since they quoted me half of what I asked for with decent credit and incomeIn auto world, 15k is nothing and I’ve been making in time payments for 6 years .. they are strict about job history even if you’ve been consistently with a job and the same industry, but they didn’t like the 8 months job report

Was advised by Coin Star that they had a machine at this location to turn in my change for cash. Upon arrival, I asked where the Coin Star machine was located, the security guard pointed me to it. As I was getting ready to start using the machine the Security Guard asked if I was an account holder at the bank. I advised him that I was not. He then told me the machine was for use by the Credit Union customers only. Coin Star is a private company, but apparently each location can stipulate whether you can use their machines. This is fine, but maybe the bank and/or Coin Star should notate that it can only be used by their customers. Seems to me, why put it as a "Location" on a nation wide map, if it only can be used by their customers. You can have gained a customer in personal and my business accounts, instead you chose to just tell me I needed to find somewhere else to take my change. Bank was empty and would have been easy for someone to just come talk to me. Thank you- Never to be a CUC customer

Big bank mentality for a credit union. Stay Away. Awful customer service and limited pay back options for auto loans. Take out your auto loans with a different bank. These people are monsters.

Was on our list of Credit Unions that we could go to. Teller was pretty rude when we asked. I guess isn’t connect to our Credit Union. I did say that someone should take it off the list and he rolled his eyes.

My husband and I went into this branch today to make a couple changes and open a new checking/saving account. The teller who initially helped us was super friendly and great! We met with Jazmin to do everything we needed. Jazmin was absolutely amazing! Was super nice/helpful. Great customer service, offered some advice after pulling my credit. Explained things really well. Made us feel really welcome. Called us back ASAP after investigating a question we had earlier in person. I felt like I got some really transparent answers etc, and couldn’t be happier so far!!

Don’t do business with this place. They’re the worst when it comes to recovering funds from fraudulent charges. They make it almost impossible to get your money back. It’s a huge waste of time, do not trust this bank.

Me and my wife have been members of Credit Union of Colorado for a pretty long time. Up until today, I have always received top notch customer service at this particular branch in Thornton. That all changed after I pulled up and experienced a teller by the name Jasmine. After waiting in the drive up line for over 45 minutes, she was extremely rude, catty, and showed very poor customer service. My wife has worked in the banking industry for over 10 years, none of her tellers would ever be able to talk to a customer like Jasmine spoke to me today and still keep their job. Jasmine definitely needs to be retrained if Credit Union of Colorado doesn’t want to lose good customers.

This bank is not supportive of Covid 19 situations and the impact that it has on individuals. I applied for a refinance on my auto loan and was denied because I was out of work for a month due to testing positive for Covid 19. On several occasions I offered pay stubs, a letter from HR stating I am a fulltime employee and my hourly pay, I even offered documentation for testing positive to explain my situation of being out of work but it wasn't taken into consideration. As soon as returned to work I sent in a pay stub but I was denied the loan because I returned in the middle of the pay period and it didn't show my fulltime hours. During a time when "We're all in this together" Credit union of Colorado was not supportive! Despite all efforts, a full time job, a credit score of 780 with 100% payment history I was ultimately denied due to my situation!
