Peculiar experience with the cashier. She was completely out of it and asked me for ID two times, I gave her a weird look and pulled my wallet out again. She then slurred and stumbled her way through bagging my cases, I almost felt like going around and helping her but I just didn’t really know what to do. A younger man then walked out the store behind me, she shouted past me asking if he had his ID, he was already out the door and she turns to me and warns me that if I am with others, they need to show up and show their ID🤦♂️. Paid and got out. If you’re gonna day drink or abuse xanax or something, at the very minimum dont be a dick to the guy who’s just happy to be there. Happened July 31st around 3:00 pm, middle aged white women.
3 stars because they had Murphy’s, though.

I can not say enough amazing things about this place. I’ve been on the hunt for the squid games Johnny walker whiskey. I looked up the websites inventory and couldn’t locate it I figure I’d give the store a call. I called and spoke with the sweetest lady I could ever talk to. Her name was Michelle. She informed me that they did have it and to come on in. When arriving I was pleasantly surprised to be greeted by Michelle and she guided me to my products location. When checking out my items she offered to sign me up with their loyalty program which I was happy to do. I from now on will make this my go to liquor store. Thank you so Michelle for making my shopping experience easy

This is a massive liquor store. They have a huge selection of beer, wine, liquor, including pre-mixed drinks and Jell-O shots.
If you know what you’re looking for, you’ll find it. Interestingly, they carry Kirkland branded alcohol.

I got a keg for my wife’s 40th birthday and when I tried to return the shell and tap and they refused me because I didn’t have a receipt and I’m not a rewards member. It’s 2025 and you can’t look up a transaction? You’re the biggest liquor store in the world and you don’t have that capability?!

I’ve been coming here for a few months now. They have Good deals, convenient, large selection. However the last several times My husband and I have been in, my husband has said that the men’s urinal is out of order, and there’s always someone in the stall. The ladies room is also nothing special. We’ll go to some other place until this is fixed.

I’ve been a regular at Daveco Liquor primarily because of its convenience, the wine cellar, and the decent cigar humidor—which, unfortunately, has gone downhill recently. They over charge for their cigars, but was happy to support my local shop. What’s really pushed me away, though, is the consistently poor customer service.
They advertise closing at 9 PM, but they start shutting down at 8:30—turning off the open sign and clearly signaling that customers aren’t welcome. I get off work at 8:30 and can be in and out by 8:50 if i stop in, so I’m not lingering or keeping anyone late. Still, I’m met with resistance and unwelcoming behavior every time I come in near closing.
The first time it happened, I let it slide. The second time, I was surprised. But the third time confirmed that this is their standard approach. The manager, in particular, is rude and dismissive. On my second to last visit, I asked to access the now-locked humidor, and she made it clear it was an inconvenience to turn on the light and unlock it—despite it being well before closing. Last night, it happened to be unlocked, and they turned the light off on me.
I understand that last-minute shoppers aren’t ideal, but basic customer service should still be expected until closing time. I won’t be back. There are plenty of other liquor stores with staff who actually appreciate your business and better cigar shops.
The person at the register was nice.

Huge selection and excellent service. Stopped in last week while traveling and had a great experience. I called today and spoke with Tim who answered all my questions and went out of his way to help me find what I was looking for.

Never been to a business that turnt down a $500 sale due to the fact that the customer was not part of the store rewards program. Last time I checked a sale is sale. Poor customer service all around!
