They charged me $530 for what was supposed to be a hour appointment, but where I was pushed out the door after 40 minutes. Their software made an error that made them think I owed $8500. I asked the lady to review it, and if I could see what was put in, as I suspected an error was made. She would not let me do that, but instead insisted that I sign the paperwork, pay the $530 for the appointment, and then pushed me out the door with 20 minutes remaining in our appointment, saying they would review it on their own. Fortunately, it turned out I only owed 700. Regardless, paying $530 for a 40 minute appointment where you get treated poorly, don't even receive copies of what was documented, can't review the information for errors and get pushed out the door being told you owe an overwhelming 8.5 grand was an absolutely terrible experience. I 150% will absolutely NEVER use HR Block again. No freaking way.

I would rate them a five star, but I’ve been waiting for my gift card for referring friends and I haven’t received it so that is a lie. I’ve been looking in the mail. I’ve been looking at emails and I haven’t received anything and when I called to escalate, she was rude and mean she was having a bad day.

Vicki does an amazing job. She is very knowledgeable, friendly, understanding, and patient. She works hard to get everything worked out even when it's complicated due to me missing paperwork or having uncommon requests. She goes above and beyond every year to make sure everything goes well and I will use her for my taxes every year for the foreseeable future. I would highly recommend her to anyone uneasy about doing their own taxes, especially if they are complicated. Thank you

It is the first time that I do Taxes for my company, I have only been with it for 4 months. I went to H&R because I thought it was the place to help me do them for the first time. I asked for someone to assist me in Spanish because I didn't want to get lost. information in the translation but to my surprise María, who was the one who helped me, apart from being too rude, seemed to be bothered by me asking her questions, and still had the great idea of telling me that I better go to "somewhere in Latin." Racist and rude, thank you H&R for the information they did not want to give me and for the help I did not receive, they definitely make it very difficult to do things right.

Your services are expensive, but guaranteed. I've been falsely harassed by the IRS, and HR Block got me out of it for free. I walked in and got seated immediately. Amanda has been doing my taxes every year for the last 7 years, and she was available then. Her specialty is retirement taxation, and I just turned 65. She freely gave me (life changing) investment tax info. She really deserves a really Really REALLY big raise.

Awful experience ended up owing over $2,500 when I barely made anything and have a child! My lowest earning year since I was 15 years old first year with a child, in school and somehow that’s what they came up with.Would not recommend going here find someone who understands tax credits and is in the modern day!

Worst experience ever! I will never use H&R block for my tax preparation services again. I filled in office on Saturday morning. I accepted the tax return advance that was offered by the tax professional and was supposed to hear back about the funds. I was supposed to get a text message or email with a approval or denial within 24 hours. It's Tuesday and still nothing.
