I’m at the one in Thornton, Co. this is not a 24 hr one. Closes at 8pm. I really needed a massage. It’s 10 min but the girl said no because they close in 5 mins. It’s 7:45. She turned me away. I have over 20 pinched nerves in my back, Sciatica on my right side and a herniated disk and ruptured dics in my lower back. Because there is no bench for the handicap to sit n get dressed it took me longer. My muscles were tightening up on me in my feet n hands from straining to stand and put on lotion, clothes and socks n shoes. I really needed that massage. My insurance covers my membership but I pay extra for the black just to use the massage chair. In Texas I’ve jumped out of bed with cramps at all hrs of the night just to go use the chair. I’m sad so I’m posting.oh and the showers were gross. I went to 3 b4 I found one ok. But it had soap buildup in the corners that went on my feet. I had to be careful not to fall. The handicap one didn’t drain n was gross and the other 2 had a clump of hair in the drain. They cut the shower curtains to barely fit so I fought with them throughout my shower keeping the gaps on the ends closed. They curl up from the heat. I will not be back to this one.

Moved from the Lakeside planet fitness to Thornton a couple months ago. Though I like that lakeside is 24hr and they have self lock lockers I do like the staff at the Thornton Location. Isaiah and Dave, are great they are very welcoming, friendly and helping! They always say hello, good bye and ask about my workout.

It’s time to take away the free gym membership for all the high school kids. Paying customers are having hard times using the weights. If this becomes a regular thing I’m going to have to find a new gym to workout at.

Planet Fitness is always clean, there is plenty of well-maintained equipment for everything that I need to do, and the staff is great.

The staff is awesome and always welcoming. The equipment is kept clean and members are actually good about cleaning off their equipment after they use it. It does get pretty busy around 5:30-7:00. Other than that it’s great!

I really love working out here. I am inquiring why it's taking so long to fix the AB machine. It's been inoperable for a month now. I asked the front desk and all they could say is they have someone that will be looking at it. Any idea when it might be fixed?

I liked this gym. But that went downhill rather quickly. I’m giving it one star because it’s another gym with cowardly employees. I use the fitness circuit and, once again, people were camping out on the machines so I cut my workout short. The signs say the area is regularly monitored by staff. Lie. So, I went and complained to a staff member - long haired guy with big gauges in his ears - and he said he was sorry I had a bad experience and he’d go talk to them. What he didn’t know is that I watched from the outside as he went and stood behind the front desk and did NOTHING!! Sure makes me feel valued as a planet fitness member. NOT!
Went back an hour later and cancelled my membership. Different guy behind the counter this time. No empathy at all. Didn’t even ask if I’d reconsider canceling 🤣. I probably would have but it’s very clear they don’t value individual members. They will get along quite nicely without my $24.99/mo. And I will go back to using the free gym in my complex. Win/win.
