Rude, unhelpful woman answered my call morning of 11/1/2022. Asked her to hand the phone to any co-worker, said she was there alone and hung up on me. I called back, she immediately placed me on hold and left it there until I got tired of waiting and called a third time. Same woman answered, claimed to be the manager so either it *was* the manager and the first person lied about being there alone, or the manager who sounds just like her was also rude. i would switch now if it weren't for one woman who works there named Susan who has been consistently kind and helpful.

I've been shopping at safeway at 771 Thornton parkway way back to when it was across Washington ! I can not believe how awful it is now! A Lot of expired products! Go to the deli and get the wrong stuff or you wait forever for your turn then a shopper they know comes up and They just take him first! Then after all of that it's the wrong product! Shelves are empty! One cashier! Customer service is! In the toilet. I've run. Very successful store for 46 years and NEVER! would I allow my employees to be so nasty to customers and right in front of them! Come on! When you stand in line 25 min for the deli! THEN! Get the WRONG stuff! I always spend at least 300.00 week at least no more! I will go to a store that has got good service!

So impressed with this pharmacy!! I used a CVS pharmacy for years and the last 2 years have been horrible so I decided it is time to fill my medications elsewhere so I decided let's go closer to where I live and the reviews for this Safeway pharmacy are good. So I called and spoke to one of the staff members she was so nice and professional there were a couple whops we had to deal with because of insurance but she did it and called me back same day and said they should have my prescriptions 1-2 days because it needed to be ordered it only took one day, I also got a 25.00 dollar gift card. Crazy it took me so long to get the courage to change my 5 medications over, but so glad I did!!!

The pharmacy has good help and they are willing to take time to answer all of your questions and /or educate you on your prescriptions. The staff is friendly and polite. The onky thing is you can only get your prescriptions one day early which I am disabled and cannot always find a way to get there or get someone to pick up my prescriptions that day do I have to go without. Otherwise no complaints and they helped my son transfer and receive a medication from Colorado Springs after a near death illness. Thank you.

This place NEVER answers the phone. I just want to be transferred to the pharmacy to check on a prescription, but they won't even answer the phone to let me do so. Now I have to go up there, and will have to wait for them to fill it OR have them tell me to come back another day. Absolute travesty of a grocery store. Also, just to make this clear, the pharmacy people are always SO nice; so it's not them who are not answering phones. It's the main line to the grocery store that never gets answered. This is the 6th month in a row I've had this problem and I've even addressed it with the "manager" (I think they were lying about who the manager was) who ASSURED me it would never happen again. Do I recommend this place? No. They absolutely suck. Sometimes I can even hear them pick up the phone and hang it up on me. WHO DOES THAT!? My 2 year old can answer a phone and say hello; so she must be smarter than the people working at this store. Dawn, it won't let me reply to you but I have already been thru that process 4-5 times; that's what y'all tell me to do every time and yet STILL, nothing has changed. Thankfully, the amazingly kind pharmacy lady gave me the pharmacy's direct number, since you guys can't figure out how to answer the store's phone.

If I could upload a picture I would. However I was shopping in Safeway today around 1230. There was a guy with a black dog on a leash in the store. The dog was walking behind the guy. The guy kept pulling on the leash. Well if the guy would've turned around he would've noticed that the dog was dropping p*** nuggets all over the floor. A customer then proceeded to step on one and skidded it across the floor. People wonder why sickness goes around. They shouldn't allow animals other than service animals. This is getting out of control. It is absolutely disgusting.

We will not be going back to Safeway again. The last two purchases of fresh salmon and flat iron steak where so tasteless that we threw the leftovers away. We had stopped going to Safeway years ago because of a bad customer service experience. We decided to try them once again. We bought the fresh salmon on sale and the following week we bought the Flatiron steak which was also on sale. Both purchases had zero flavor. We don't understand how that is possible but we will not be going back there again. We gave them two stars, instead of zero,, only because the store was clean, the people were friendly, and they finally added self-check aisles.

the lady working the self checkout at this store needs more training on dealing with customers.She also needs more training on how a machine is supposed to operate. the first time the machine messed up she just look at me angry before she came over to fixed it when it messed up the 2nd time she told me I was causing it by hitting the skip bagging. and that you are not supposed to hit skip bagging on the machine unbelievable it never happen before all the other times I shop at this store. sure enough it happen a 3rd time. she gave me an angry look and instead of comming over to make sure it wasn't the machine missing up. she just stood there. so I just left the groceries in the cart and walked out. I will never shop at this safeway as long as that lady is working there She has no clue what she is doing or why she even has a job there. I went to the safeway on 104th.funny I hit skip bagging there when I was checking out no problems.
