October 2025: no longer an Exxon station! Only lasted about a year. Now a Phillips 66 station. Ridiculous that Exxon is closing all of their stations.
Oct 2024 update: pumps never have paper for receipts so you have to go inside snd wait for the slow responding clerk. Outside is a bit trashy. From 5 stars to three stars.
Original: Great to have an Exxon on the south side of Trinidad. Clean and well lighted. Convenience store just steps away. Easy on/off the interstate. Be aware of transient panhandlers late in the night.

The air pump doesn't work and there is no sign letting customers know. I only find out when I went inside and an employee said it doesn't work. I am traveling from out of STATE. This is not right or good customer service. Put a sign on the machine for goodness sake. I spent my money and time and this is a HUGE inconvenience. Thankfully, I have a AAA membership. Do better Exxon!!! Your reputation and business is on the line.

Many pumps out of order constantly, the night-time lady with piercings couldn't be bothered to look up from her phone to help anyone, especially if you had questions.

Nastiest rest room I've seen in several years (worse than New Mexico Rest Stops).
Fuel pump dispensed gas at 45 seconds per gallon (over 13 minutes for one 18 gallon fill-up)

Big news! The Wendy's took over the bathroom maintenance. It's worlds better. We were here in December and it was horrific. Much better this time!

No soap or paper towels! Dirty bathrooms! I bought a scratcher from there, won $5, and they couldn't honor it when it was time to cash out!

Small lil stop on the way to New Mexico 🇲🇽
Restroom 🚽 was clean and people were polite.

Terrible gas station! Many pumps were out of order. Lots of people driving in and cutting in line to get gas. Very frustrating. Lastly, the restrooms here are DISGUSTING!!! Third world conditions. The manager should be fired.

Absolutely disgusting bathrooms. Zero confidence in any food here. Should be avoided at all costs. Filth and grime everywhere. This location should be closed. Tesla should install chargers in a better location.
