No flexibility for appointments. Waited 3 wks to get in and day of appointment called to indicate I'd be 15 minutes late due to traffic jam. Staff canceled appointment by policy requiring mandatory reschedule of appointments over 10 minutes late. Next appointment 3 wks later. That extra 5 minutes would have really put out the support staff I'm sure. No big deal - I'll wait another 21 days...it's just my health.And military leaders wonder why retention is so bad. I'd say terrible support services are in the top 3 reasons. Since it's an entitlement, I guess you get what you pay for.

Showed up early as instructed to fill out paperwork, only to find the building unlocked but completely empty. After wandering around for 10 minutes, I found a receptionist in a different department, but unfortunately, she refused to even attempt to page the front desk. It's been another 20 minutes, and I should be done with my paperwork and been checked in at this point but I'm still staring at closed windows and am empty reception desk.BTW, the older male receptionist at the family health desk is super rude. I had to ask him three times if the doctor was running behind before he actually answered me, and then he dramatically and visibly rolled his eyes at the lady who was in line behind me as soon as her back was turned.

The Dental Clinic is wonderful! The hygienist was super friendly and quite gentle when cleaning. The Dentist was friendly and personable. Great experience :)

If I could give this place a zero star rating I would. I was told to arrive 1 hr and 20 min early to my orthopedic appointment. For X-rays and then to be seen. I did so, I arrived 1 hr and 30 min early, got my X-rays and then checked in at the orthopedic clinic only to be told that the dr is running 30 min behind each appointment. I arrived at 0830, my appointment is at 1020…it is now past 11am and I have not been seen. They asked if I wanted to reschedule which I declined because I WORK FULL TIME. I had to request PTO to come here, their inability to run this place correctly is infuriating and very disappointing. I have a friend on Medicaid that receives better treatment than this.

Well well well- another one star added to the rating. I hope DHA reads this review because everywhere MHS Genesis goes seems to remove the healthcare from the facility. The enlisted/commissioned seem happy enough (probably because they get to do “training” or sell bake goods) and the civilians seem disgruntled. I don’t blame them, they’re probably treated inhumane within their flights as to be expected with any Air Force medical. All in all the customer service blows (unless their making money for a fundraiser, but then again that’s probably the favored personnel are placed)

It's disappointing to have to drive 30 minutes to get to their pharmacy just to be told that they can't get the RX for a week. What is the point of being seen on base if the best your pharmacy techs can arrive at is "well, if you need it you can just pay for it off base"

Waited 4 weeks to change PCM, waited 2 weeks for an appt. Had labs done. Had to make another appt to speak to PCM for results of labs. It will be over a week till I hear anything. I have to take a time off to to take the call. Does this sound right?

HIPAA violations all over the place. I'm offended at some of the questions this poor gentleman had to answer in front of many patients. Educate your employees to not pass sensitive information thru the window. HIPAA.

Same as last review, trying to get a referral for CT scan for over a month. Same story cannot find the order. Cant believe we as soldiers get the run around so much.

The worst experience in medical care and referrals that I have every experienced in the entire time my husband has been in the military and now retired. I absolutely never ever write or post reviews, but someone has to begin answering for the lack of care and organization that I have received in the last 3 months. Just one example: a very important appt. to me was canceled due to a water main break. I was given a number to call back to reschedule. It is 3 weeks later, and after leaving messages to call me back. No one has called back. I call the appt. line, and the phone line keeps disconnecting after a recording. Just one example...how it takes weeks for someone to call back. There is one PA in Family Medicine that actually follows through and calls back on time, but he is so good and effective that he gets pulled out to different bases. When you do finally get to see someone, they seem like truly caring people. So...where lies the issue? The new online method? The right hand not talking to the left hand? Total disorganization? What in the world is going on?

Terrible experience, perscriptions getting lost in new genesis system. My wife showed for a scheduled surgery, surgeries being cancelled. Medical clinic seems lost, no direction.A lack of leadership at this installation.

I have been at the Air Force Academy for 2 months now and had to go to the immunizations clinic twice. Once for a COVID shot and got turned away because they said they needed me to be there with at least 6 people. If I could go find 6 people they would help otherwise I either had to make an appointment or go to Walmart. So easier to go to Walmart than this immunizations clinic, how sad.Then a month later (today 13 Sep 21) I was referred by my daughters Pediatrician right after her appointment to go get a shot she needed. I showed up at 1550 and got the meanest look from a so called technician. Then finally after 10 minutes went past another so called technician said can I help you sir. I told her yes my daughter was referred to you all by her Pediatrician to get a shot. They said she didn't need she can wait till she goes to college. I said we'll can she get it early anyway since the doctor told her to. She said well it is after 1600 so for safety concerns they don't do shots after 4pm. I Said well if you would have serviced us when we showed up at 1550 there wouldn't be a "safety concern". Sorry sir thats our policy.Really interested on what the safety concern is. I will be sure to chat with the First Sergeant soon as I get a chance

Always have a good experience. If I need to be seen and there aren’t appts, I get a referral to urgent care from the nurse advice line. I’ve had other insurances and you don’t get much better than free. My dr always responds quickly to my emails for meds and referrals.

This facility has helped make the decision to switch to standard so that I can be seen in a timely manner by a civilian doctor.
