I walked into the J. Cottier Gallery this ski season and was amazed by the talent of Jim Cottier. His jewelry designs are a work of art. I bought a flattering and unique pair of earrings called “First Tracks” which were very reasonably priced in silver. They were designed unpolished, but I wanted to match a necklace I had that was polished, so for no extra charge he changed the sheen for me. Honestly, Jim and his staff went above and beyond to provide excellent service, and I highly recommend you visit their store when visiting Vail.

Best jeweler in Vail hands down. J. Cotter’s pieces are all one of a kind featuring creative, exciting materials that are beautifully designed. The entire team in the gallery and studio are experts and extremely helpful. If you’re looking for the best, stop. You’ve found them.

If J Cotter cant fix it, nobody can!My mother’s eternity wedding band (circa 1944) was beautiful in its simplicity. But the platinum band was split in a couple of places though I saved the diamond chips that fell out. Other jewelers offered to remake the ring, but J Cotter repaired the original ring. I almost cried with joy when I saw it. It was perfect again!J Cotter is a Vail Village treasure❤️

I love this gallery! All of the pieces are so beautiful and unique. It's a great mix of jewelry and sculpture. I actually got my wedding set here, they helped my husband make a custom piece. Beautiful pieces! I had my wedding set custom made in their studio and I'm obsessed. I love that they use creative casting methods and that I have the most unique wedding band ever. My husband and I met snowboarding and my wedding band was made using snow. I can't wait to get another piece of jewelry from there.
