Ski Base is a great and awesome ski rental place with stellar, friendly, knowledgeable, and very helpful staff. The crew is good and ensures your setup is right. They offer the best rental prices in Vail with decent and competitive pricing, sometimes including nice discounts. The shop is very convenient to the slopes and kids ski school. They provide good equipment and a great selection of rentals, including brand new gear. Services include storing skis overnight and boots during the day. The only complaint is the shop can be a bit smelly.
Awesome ski shop! Personable, professional and goes the extra mile for their customers, truly. I've been skiing for 30+ years and they made me feel right at home. Even mailed me my ID I accidentally left in the rental gear I rented. Awesome employees! Thank you Ski Base! :)

The team at Charter Sports is the best in Vail! They have brand new rental equipment, best googles and gloves, and the service was impeccable. We will be back and we’ve already told many of our friends who ski Vail every year. Y’all rock!

Jay and Devin are great folks and will help gear you up… got ski boots and my wife got helmet and goggles…. Just gotta love it here in Vail. You gotta pet the dog though… that’s just how it is
