“In fall 2022 I had new liners made for my Lange boots. After skiing on them for a few weeks, I realized that the tounge on one boot was binding my ankle. I brought them back and they trimmed the tounge. After that the boots were perfect all season. I skied about 140 days including a heli trip and a trip to Silverton, and the boots were great in all conditions. I am very very picky, bordering on anal, about the fit of my boots, and I was totally satisfied with the work that the Surefoot folks did. They provide a quality product and great service, and I recommend them with enthusiasm!”

They helped me with directions, the stored my stuff, the rented my buddy Dan skis, and I purchased skis, binding, poles and a high quality travel bag and got a very good deal. Again, super friendly, informative and helpful. We were in the store several times during our vacation (picking up and returning skis daily, etc.) and I saw how Buzz and his staff helped all people immediately. “I had a great experience with Brian and the team on our snowboarding trip in early January. I have step on bindings and my boa laces were compromised. I tried the "at home" fix but was unable to thread the boots appropriately. The team rented me some boots for the day (which is great as it was a powder day) and laced up my boots. I was able to pick them up at the end of the day! Thank you Brian for saving a great day.”

“So Pepi sports guy is very helpful and flexible. It’s the only place we found hourly rentals for regular bike for as low as 10 bucks so a great deal. The person gave us last minute bikes with so much flexibility of even paying afterwards. And was considerate even ~10 mins after put reservation end.Would recommend again for rental bikes , can’t comment for skiis!”

“Just had a great experience with Peter. We brought in two kids jackets with broken zips and he first tried to fix them himself but they needed further repair so he sent them off to be fixed by Patagonia at no extra cost. They will be shipped to us in 8 weeks! Can’t argue with that!”

“Updated review:Eric,Thank you for the note. I appreciate the fact that you took the time to respond. Yes, I was indeed agitated as I felt it was not a proper situation to place a customer in.... ie: toys known to have a propensity for such a failure were out for display/handling - and the concept of signage for such didn't feel like fair approach for a customer. I'm actually not truly interested in the refund; rather, my real goal would be discontinue displaying any such items that are known to be problematic. Again, I appreciate that you responded and I have updated the review (would be a 5 star if I heard the toys were removed!).Best to you,DanielThe large, crowded store is packed with toys of all types (good!); however, my youngest child (age 6) picked up a "squishy toy" and the toy immediately gushed out some type of oozy-squish-goop within it. My son walked over to me and showed me the resulting mess all over the toy and his hands. I went to the cashier desk to show the store employee the situation and she promptly notified me, "there are signs all over the store about the squishy toys", and indicated that I was liable to pay for the toy, even as it was obviously defective. The employee pointed to a small sign indicating such that was hidden behind other toys at the front desk. The point of this comment is: the store should NEVER be displaying/selling a toy the has the propensity to be defective, and furthermore, who knows what the ingredients of that gooey substance really are? Are they potentially toxic?! Perhaps I should buy one, have it analyzed at a lab and pursue a path of recourse for exposing my child to a potentially toxic substance? To the Owners of this establishment: Please remove this toy and any such other toys that risk failure and/or potential toxicity to children. I would like to have my $15 bucks back for that; however, I'm not going to hold my breath that will ever be offered to me.Daniel PeytonWashington, DC”
