My friends and I came into the store to see if this North Face store would have a pair of snow boots her size since the one at Breckenridge did not have the one she really wanted. One we were not greeted at all and I was drinking something so I had my mask off and Alex one of the workers said you need to put your mask on and I didn’t realize she was speaking to me because I was trying to take a sip and my friends and I were in a conversation. Then she proceeds to say I’m not going to say it again you need to put your mask on (super rude and with an attitude) and I asked in a calm tone even if I am trying to take a sip of my drink and she then proceeds to say yea this is Vail Resort it’s our set of rules which is fine. However, the tone of voice and attitude was not appreciated. Also, when a white couple walked into the store they were greeted with a hello how are you. Then my friend asked her if they did military discount and she rudely replied no because it’s Vail so my friend asked is Breckenridge part of Vail? And she replied yes it’s part of the Vail resort so then my friend asks they offered us military discount in which she replied Oh. This interaction is very disappointing because as people of color we felt like we weren’t treated with the respect as some of the other customers were. I will never support North Face at Vail Unit E ever again due to this experience and would not want anyone else to get this type of treatment.

Like others have mentioned this is a "franchised" North Face Store. Don't buy anything here you may want to return to a real North Face Store.

Could not find the store! Maybe google maps was not accurate regarding the location?

Went in to exchange a Christmas present that was the wrong size. The manager told me that this store was a “vail†store and not a North Face store. How can I trust a brand if their guarantee is only good intermittently throughout their franchises? This experience was unbelievably frustrating. From now on I'll go out of my way not to wear north face.

Stopped in here to inquire about exchanging brand new Windstopper neck gaiters that arrived with defective cinchers from North Face online. I was told that this particular North Face was resort-owned, and therefore couldn't do much by way of instantly swapping out defective merchandise with functional product. Perhaps North Face shouldn't be franchising their stores if the level at which they stand behind their product varies between location. Lesson: go here to buy things you forgot or things you can't live without, but don't believe for a minute that they're going to take defective merchandise from you and make it right on the spot. Then again, having just received ANOTHER broken one from my NF Online return, I think they have bigger quality assurance issues to work out.
