“We always have to visit this toy store when we’re in Vail. 2 years ago, when visiting with our grandson, he picked out a rainbow unicorn for his little sister—still her favorite of her vast collection. Last week I was looking for an Arctic fox for her—her current favorite animal. I searched Vail for one. At Wishes, the owner looked through all the stuffed animals there to no avail. He then phoned his wife at the shop in Avon and she had one. She brought it home and he saved it for me to pick up the next day. One thrilled little girl (who happened to have the unicorn in her arms when I arrived at her house.)Thank you!”

“Fantastic tourist shop in the heart of Beaver Creek Village just steps from the central ice rink. They have all the things traveling kids and parents could want to bring home from Beaver Creek; t-shirts, pins, buttons, necklaces, a light selection of child ski gear, and an endless assortment of stuffed animals, some with Beaver Creek branding. I like to get my kid stuffed animals from places we travel, preferably with the name of the place, so this store solves that need. Parent pro tip: first stop at the outdoor Hooked tiki bar just across the sidewalk for a nice and strong Zombie or Mai Tai, drinks are allowed in Generation BC, then you will love letting your kid run around in here for an hour looking at all the things they have.”
