Antlers Inn is a charming hotel located in Walden, Colorado, known as the moose capital. The inn features a decor reminiscent of old western hotels, with copper ceilings, log beams, and log mantels, creating a cozy and nostalgic atmosphere. The rooms are clean, comfortable, and offer unique woodwork and charm, with upgraded bathrooms and modern amenities. Guests appreciate the friendly and accommodating staff who try their best to help, even during short staffing. The inn’s attached restaurant adds to the overall experience, offering good steak and chili, along with breakfast and dinner options. The building’s details and saloon aesthetic make it a standout, and the quiet environment makes it a nice place to stay. Some guests suggest hiring more staff to improve service and replacing old sheets and uncomfortable mattresses. Overall, Antlers Inn is a reasonably priced, beautiful place that provides a memorable stay, especially for those on moose-viewing expeditions or exploring the area’s natural beauty.

The decor is reminiscent of old western hotels -- copper ceilings, log beams and mantels, etc. -- with nice amenities and upgraded bathrooms. I'll definitely stay there again on our next moose-viewing... read full comment
