I had an account for 25 years, but new owners are cheapskates, so I switched companies . 2 weeks later , I got a bill from collections for a bill that had been paid months ago. Vindictive and unprofessional! Beware

I believe they use dishonest practices. I called to get my tank filled and it was at 50%. He comes, and begins tapping the gauge stating it isn’t filling. Slaps 3 magnetic gauges on the tank. Say, yes it looks like it’s got 50%. Decides to replace the gauge. Comes back with a bill of $480.00 and says it really didn’t have MUCH in the tank. Every time they come, it’s something like that - new regulator or some “repair” that results in confusion on how much is in the tank always to your detriment. So, my 250 gallon tank at 50% , filled to 85% cost $480 at 2.75 a gallon.

I mailed my payment to them as usual then called to order more. I was told I was on the list. That was a Tuesday, Friday came and no fill up. Monday I received a call from the police that my mail had been stole and they found my check to RMP. I called the company and was told that the truck wrecked on Friday and the driver sat over five hours waiting to be towed out. After I was able to tell my story the tone changed drastically. Within 20 min's the truck showed up. But I had to call back after 1:00 to make my payment...she wouldn't switch computer screens until she was finished posting bills from the day prior.

Don’t give this company your business,They will let you freeze after filling your tank and refuse to light a pilot light on a furnace. The woman named Susie in the Walsenburg office is the rudest person I have ever spoken with in the State of Colorado. As soon as this tank is empty I will have them pick up their tank & buy my own. Derek the manager isn’t too accommodating either.

Terrible customer service. Never a return call. Did not show up when they said they would left me with a renter with no propane service for 5 days and never a call. Run run very fast. The only reason they are in business is because the competition is limited

I would choose zero stars, but one has to be chosen to begin. This Co. is also known as Rocky Mountain LP. Incompetent customer service, to start. They took my credit card info, charged it and never sent me a paper bill in the mail as I requested numerous times. They use different drivers that don't live in the area and have no idea where they're going or whose tank to fill. Norup has been a kind and organized company to switch to.

Horrible customer service. The lady that runs the office is extremely rude. We have waited now over two weeks to have gas delivered to my elderly mothers home and still no delivery, even though they tell us they were going to deliver this week. We have nothing but problems with them since Rocky Mtn took over. My parents have had service with Ludvick for over 40 years and they are treated horrible by Rocky Mtn. We had service at our home for over 30 and after the last time this women got very rude with my husband we told them to come get the tank (which they still have not done) and went with another company. Stay away...stay far away...

I have used this company for over 20 years, and still do so now under the new ownership. I have Never had bad service or experienced anything but prompt, professional, and courteous treatment. I think it is important to remember that we live in mountain communities and Ludvik covers a massive area for their customers. Hard to believe the negative reviews, but I do think people are much more likely to complain when things go wrong than compliment when treated well. These folks are awesome.

I don't have service with this company but my senior citizen mother dose and when a family has to have this fuel to live and has to wait for months to get t it and your on the schedule for Service or repair anything for that matter.I believe the owner needs to speak to their employees because they are not doing their JonaThan woman in the office in Walsenburg remind me of Mrs.Wiggins from Carol Burnett show.

If your looking for an excellent company with great customer service Call La Veta Propane. I had them yank my Rocky Mountain (Ludvik) Tank and replace it with theirs and they transferred my gas to their tank. You can buy or lease tank. Great customer service, polite and timely communications. They set the old tank out front for pickup by Rocky Mountain. Its been sitting there 4 mos waiting for them to pick up. I guess they don't need it based on the customers they are losing.

I have been a customer of Ludvik Propane since 1999. There have been times I was slow to pay. I am a disabled vet, and have had a number of surgeries. Each one set me back financially. The Ludvik's and the new owner (I cannot remember his name), have always been fair with me. If I can't pay all of my bill, I tell them how & when I can. I always pay at least $100 per month. That doesn't cover the total, but it keeps me in good graces with the company (unless I'm just too far behind). I have never been denied service, and have always been treated fairly and courteously. It's a tough business they are in, and I am sure their over head is high. Prices are rising on many things, and my income is fixed. These are difficult times for all of us, but I believe in the integrity of this firm, and that they are competent .

Leap paid For $145 worth of Propane several months ago and i was told it was on its way never seen them again. Then i was told my tank was to full at 70%. I'm still waiting to get my propane. They like to tell you they put it in when they do not I have cameras up so I will not get cheated and my tank is locked so I have to be there and I can watch them. Better safe then sorry

So my elderly grandmother gets propane from Ludvick's, and I always pay her bill off in full. I called last week and paid what little that was owed on the bill and ordered more fuel. The young lady that answered the phone assured me that they will deliver this week. I saw the truck in town, and when I went to check my grandmother's tank, it was only at 3%. I called the company, and the same young lady answered. I told her what happened, and she basically blamed the driver and said she would call the driver to see what's going on. She then took my number and said she would call me back. I never received a call back, and my grandmother never received her fuel. Let me just say that this is not the first time this has happened. My grandmother has been a customer for about 10 years now, and the bill has never been delinquent. This company really has no customer service skills, is not true to their word, and does not care about their customers. It has really gone down hill the past few years. If you are in need of a fuel company, I strongly suggest that you go with another company that actually values their customers and keeps their word. I have zero confidence in this company, and I am not the only one in this town that thinks this of Ludvik Propane. I personally know several people that have changed propane companies because of they way this company treats its customers and never fulfills its promises.

This company really does not know how to treat it's customers. We paid our bill in full and ordered more gas a week ago. The lady that I spoke with said that they would deliver within the week. We saw the gas truck drive by the house today, but it did not stop. I called the company again, and the spoke with the same lady. I explained what happened, and she was a little rude and blamed the driver. She took my information, said she would call the driver and see what's going on, then call me back. Well I never received a call, and we are out of fuel. This company only cares about getting money, does not care about its customers, and is never true to their word. If you are looking for a propane company, I highly suggest that you find someone other than Ludvik Propane.
