HORRIFYING! posting on behalf of my friend for safety reasons. monday morning she went to get her car checked and the mechanic, who did not identify himself, took the car for a test and brought her away to the interstate. she asked where they are going and he answered vaguely and did not have his seatbelt on. she finally said he needs to turn around now and she made it back but that is a TERRIFYING experience and SO UNPROFESSIONAL. i’ve never had a mechanic take me on the highway and saying he’ll pull over at the next stop - get out of here.

These kind people went out of their way on a holiday weekend to bring us gas when our car ran out on I 25 (we discovered the fuel gauge isn’t working properly). They were so nice and helpful and then refused payment. Family owned business ♥️

Stopping several times to put air in my tire, which we noticed going flat at the Dunes National Park, we limped into town and were told they couldn't us at the first tire shop but recommended we come here to Rambler 66.
We have a stupid space saver spare and a thousand miles to home so getting the tire fixed was a priority. So down the road we went to Rambler 66. It was kind of off-putting to be honest. I asked if I could get my tire fixed and the man there said yes, but I had to pull it off the car. Well, that was surprising but needed that tire fixed so pulled the car around back and he had tire irons and a floor jack on the floor. I asked if I could use them, rather than emptying my trunk to get to the dinky jack the car came with and he said yes.
I pulled the tire, and he had it plugged before fifteen minutes. From start to finish it was maybe 35 minutes before we were back on the road. The fellow was pleasant and quick in getting us back on the road. The tire leaked another pound down in the first hour but held up the rest of the trip.
We had no problems with this shop in getting our tire fixed.

Avoid if you need tires. They rip people off and don't even put the tires on for you. This place needs to be Shut Down

I'm an insurance broker in Colorado Springs/Monument, CO. I reached out to Paul, the owner of Rambler almost 1 year later after the fact to ask if he could dig a up a receipt for some clients of mine. They were an older couple, stranded the middle of nowhere New Mexico in a sketch area with their 2 1/2 year old grandson.
After the insurance company failed to identify 2 locations within a 15 miles radius, that they could be towed to, Paul came and brought them to Waslenburg, CO. Literally saved the night!
The insurance company tried to refuse payment several times, citing rather pathetic excuses for why they shouldn't have to pay. Paul played a huge role, helping dig up information and providing a handwritten receipt which the insurance company then finally agreed to pay. It saved my clients an extra $600 they could not afford to spend.

In my opinion these people are crooks, parked my car at KFC on i25 no signs for no parking or anything they towed it cost 300 to get back I honestly think they give kickbacks to the business for calling for the tow, CROOKS DON'T RECOMMEND!!!!

super helpful family-owned shop. stopped in to plug a tire and it took practically no time, affordable, and the man even hooked us up with some bolts we needed.
