Lady at the desk telling me what to do .... Making up rules.....
You smile and you hand over the mail and take mail.
You follow the postal services rules- not your own.
Do this and we won't have anymore problems .
I will have you fired.

The woman who i dealt with today is extremely rude and acted like she was doing me a huge favor by grabbing my package that was almost returned to sender, because I made one tiny error and due to that one tiny error proceeded to lecture me like she was my mom, and told me I am only doing this one time like it was a huge deal. I am disabled veteran who has had multiple traumatic brain injuries and is currently recovering from one so excuse the hell out of me for making a mistake I am doing the best I can. I left this town 16 years ago to go to the military and come back to be treated like trash by a woman clearly on a power trip. Is that really the type of person you want representing your local post office. I have seen several others complain about her. Why is she still employed and not being reprimanded and retrained on how to be polite and courteous to customers. The post office needs to do better, and if she is rude to me again I will file a complaint with the post master, because no one deserves to be treated like trash. Do better walsenburg post office.

The woman this morning was extremely rude and refused to do my transaction stating she didn't have change and couldn'tget any. I needed an $850 money order, and she WOULD NOT MAKE CHANGE.
"Supposedly" not being able to make change is one thing, but being rude and disrespectful about it is another.

The postman is so rude and acts like he is sure something. He better drop the attitude because if he hates his job that much he should quit.

Driving 1 hour only to find out that they returned my packages without permission just because I used their correct address even though it specified General Delivery. The manager actually gave us two separate mails and packages two weeks prior with the correct street address labeled and letter from DMV that day we were to pick up the package. He returned the 3rd and last one. According to him, he gave us a favor for the other two. If he really gave us a favor, remove this nonsensical rule and you should have given us the last one since we could not change the label when Amazon sent it the time you warned us that we cannot put your street address. The only USPS that did it despite 10+ years of us using the same GD. This is the only one who strictly does not allow it. The ironic thing is, the only place who does not need correct address to be put for delivery is this Walsenburg USPS!!!! But they are Postal Service and whoever's idea of imagined rule and imagined order it is, it does not make any sense. When we call the toll free, they could not even explain why it is wrong to put USPS street address even though there is GD to distinguish their mails to customers. This is the only mistake: 204 E 6th Street. Nothing illegal in the package so what is wrong with it? Like I said, the only place that does not allow street address for delivery is the delivery service themselves. Whoever made up this imagined rule definitely is nothing but a tyrannical psychopath. It is so inneficient and wasteful to return GD for people who travel. And when we call the toll free, their only explanation was, they encourage po box so they will make profit instead of GD. So really, it's all about money.
