“We learned so much through the childbirth preparation and breastfeeding classes while we anticipated the birth of our first child. We are new residents of Fort Collins with our families living far away, and found both the community of expecting parents and the support offered by Jodia and Krista throughout the course of the class to be so valuable to us! We had also hired Jodia to support us as our Doula in birth and it was hands down the best decision we could have made!”

“Lunch dishes are always delicious and mostly organic. I leave feeling comfortably full. Coffee and dessert also served. Best lunch menu in town for under $10 or you can donate a few minutes wiping down a couple of tables. Truly a gem in Foco.”

“The United Way of Larimer County offers so many ways to give back to our community, including kits that you can put together in your own time and in your own home. Volunteering is more than going out and building homes or serving soup, which is a daunting idea because we lead such full lives with jobs and kids -- some of us fighting disabilities and caring for elderly parents. The United Way of Larimer County provides volunteer work in flexible ways so we can all do to give back to our community. For example, I love papercrafting -- there's a program called Service To Go: Greeting, Holiday, and Birthday Cards; I donated 78 handmade cards to the United Way and gave back to my community doing something I love.”

“What is a raptor? A raptor is a Hawk..... So I am learning so much from Yelp's virtual events and this event, The Rocky Mountain Raptor Program is no stranger to education and information to people like me.... The RMRP is an organization who rescues, rehabilitates and then, returns the Raptor back to the wild. However in some cases, the bird is injured that even with rehabilitation would not survive in the wild. In these cases they are housed and cared for within and through this Raptor Program. The raptors who are in the program are not given names. Why? Not sure but I'm guessing that might lend to attachment so as a rule, No names??? The raptor's beak and it's feet!!! what are they called? Bird Feet!!!! They need the feet and beak as a tool for their survival. Their wing span can reach five feet.... (that spans my height!!! LOL) Those birds are so pretty or handsome as it may be. I'm glad and I tip my hat to the RMRP for giving them a second lease on life. oh, by the way, if you see other birds in harm's way, you can reach out to the RMRP with a picture of what needs help and they will find the right group to assist. Thank you!!! RMRP!!!!”
