We went this Dollar Tree for first time (Jan 15, 2025) and that's was our last time. We have three and half year old daughter and she was with us. Couple of incident happened there.
First my daughter had to use washroom and their washroom was locked. When we asked they told us to go to next door (Michaels) to use washroom. Now, sure if they don't want to use the washroom intentionally.
Second, My daughter was excited and checking things, what else you can expect with this age kid. Then this lady (I think her name is Linda as per bill) came to us and asked us to leave. According to her our kid was causing too much trouble. She was very rude and gave very pathetic reason. I don't know what was wrong with that lady. May be she was frustrated with something or racism.
I am very disappointed with Dollar Tree. You should provide some basic customer service training to your Staff. Or you should ban kids entry to your store as they are not kids friendly.

I went into this Dollar Tree as I have been for many, many years, this manager, if I could even call her that. She Definitely doesn't deserve to be there at all. She doesn't doesn't greet you when you first walk in. She treats us like lower class citizens, even though we're not, we're just the surrounding neighboring community. Her name is Loretta, she's African American, but is very racist against everyone that shops at this store. Loretta peeks down the isles seeing where eee at. One day I only had a $20.00 bill which I got at the bank, she looked at it and said I don't have change, use a credit card. Doesn't she have $6.00 in change without opening up the cash register. She said go get change from other neighboring Businesses besides hers. My teen kiddo and I left after being there a long while shopping without buying anything because of her.
Today I went in again, hoping I'd get through my shopping and two items I had to exchange. She asked for receipt, I had one out of all my receipts I showed her. She kept my items, I went shopping and I was going to be spending more than the two items that I was exchanging. Needless to say, she was waiting for at the register for me to return, not allowing the other cashier to assist me instead. I reluctantly went to her line, and she had my exchange with my receipt and my money on the counter. I said I had some purchases also, she said No you go leave my store and Never come back. She had her cellphone out probably recording me, which is against the law to record someone without their knowledge. I know all stores have cameras, which I'm perfectly fine with, but her recording me is another thing completely different. I have been to various Dollar Trees, not just here in CO by also in CA, NV, TX. I've Always been treated with respect. Plus I have over 30 years of customer service experience, I seem too manage and maintain, utmost respect for others of all backgrounds.
Reach out to other stores, have them call or email Greg Mathis, he's either the Area Manager or Regional Manager for Dollar Tree. I emailed him directly.

As soon as I walked in with my two younger brothers, the cashier yelled out “Heeyyy! How old are you?” I assumed she was talking to someone else but realized she was asking my brothers behind me. I asked why that’s something she needs to know and she said, my store manager wants to makesure minors are accompanied with someone 18 years of age or older. Confused, I let her know I’m 27 and theyre with me. Cashier said nothing and I proceeded down the isle towards the back of the store when I hear the store manager yell, “hey, hey, how old are yall?” Again, confused, I turned back and said “Hi, hello, Im Alex, may i help you?” And she went from yelling to then speaking in a normal tone and explaining about how they’re asking about our ages since theyve experienced minors “running into older people in the store.” I let her know again, my age, and that my brothers are with me and she, i assume was satisfied with what I said and she walked away to restock the front of the store where she was originally.
I’ve been to this location several times before and have never experienced this type of behavior, especially from the workers at the store. It was embarrassing. No sign outside the store lets customers know you need to be 18 or older to enter or accompanied by an adult. If theyre experiencing issues with minors, thats not my issue if nothing is posted prior to entering the store. The manager/cashiers approach was also inappropriate as neither greeted me or spoke in a normal tone of voice but instead yelled out for our ages, while the line by the cashier and others were around and observing the whole thing. We left within the next minute and purchased nothing.

I stopped in to dollar tree earlier this week on my way to a concert and I was in a rush. I was very nervous when I saw how long the line was but needed some last minute stuff. I was surprised how fast the line moved and when I got up to the register although I could tell she was stressed the cashier (young girl with glasses) still asked me how I was doing and was super sweet. Amazing service.

If I could put 0 stars I would. To say this was the most unpleasant experience I’ve had in a dollar tree is an understatement. I had went into the store to grab a few things and when I proceeded to go to check out I saw one of the cashiers stocking shelves and ignoring me. I said I was ready to check out and without a word she dumps everything out of my basket in an aggressive manner, and this is all without greeting me or giving at least a smile. I tried to make friendly conversation and she completely ignored me and didn’t ask if I wanted a bag and just started bagging my items. She proceeded to toss one of my items aggressively and I was worried she damaged it. Overall she was so unfriendly and unhelpful. If I had known I would have a cashier like her I wouldn’t have even gone in! This happened on June 20th at around 3:50 and unfortunately I did not grab her name but she had dark hair and darker skin.

The staff isn't all that friendly, but the shelves are always stocked full & there's always marked down fridge & freezer items

I will leave my five stars but I'm changing my review. I've been shopping here for many many years. I went in there this evening and the younger girl with the blonde hair and glasses gave me a really bad attitude as if I was bothering her for asking a question. If you don't like customer service, get a job at a warehouse or something. I went in there happy but I left feeling irritated and mad.

Great value in cards and wrapping paper. There's a variety of other select items that you'd be amazed at the savings. Service people are friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful.

This is the best DT in the area! This location is super organized and has a great selection I know because I go to the Dollar Trees in the area all the time. Sean is a wonderful employee and he helped me out to my car with all of my things .He is definitely going above and beyond. Great staff.,great store!

Older lady who works here has an issue with children. Said she purposefully flattens the basketballs so the kids wont bounce them. I found one that wasnt flat…how you ask? Immediately over the intercom im told not to bounce the basketball in the store and am yelled at by the employees. Theyre worried im going to break something in their dollar store... Get a grip.
