Being forced to choose a star in order to post this review.
The agent completely misled me. She gave me bad information, pressured me to use the app after telling me she added a $50 coupon, then left me stuck on the app when things went wrong offering no help when I reached out. I do not recommend H&R Block if you value transparency. The lack of focus or attention to my case/appointment in the first place was not ok. She opened someone else's account to work on while I was sitting right there, made me feel like I needed to reschedule. Do I need to even mention the scheduling mishaps that resulted? I'm pretty sure you can take a wild guess. She was not there the day I was scheduled for (her day off) and had to reschedule again just to be completely misled in the end. What a ridiculous debacle of a store! She made sure she got her commission, though. I will NEVER trust this H&R Block again in my entire life.

Sally Trimble has handled my taxes for the last 2 years and I am very pleased with her service. Could not recommend her more highly. Wouldn't think of going anywhere else.

My friend had a very bad experience here where, on the phone, was told 170$ charges for tax filing and 300$ in person.
So beware of their rates as you might get scammed.
FUN FACT: The same taxes were later done for just 96$ from sprintax...

Good experience this year.
Tax preparer was pleasant in helping us with the 2023 return. Office was quiet.
Electronic preparation is the way to do taxes. State and federal offices accepted returns that same day.

I have been dealing with issues about my taxes being prepared incorrectly since October 2023, and it is now January 2024 and I still have not heard from the upper management about this issue. The one office supervisor that tried help has also drop the ball and I’m having a very difficult time trying to speak to management to get this issue resolved.

Sally Trimble is one of a kind--smart, uptodate, loves her work, and importantly --knows what she is doing. I trust her 100% with my taxes and have been working with her for several years now.Unfortunately i can't say the same for the on-line application for scheduling an apt...just doesn't work, nor does the phone system. Its a shame that the infrastructure --at a one star, does not match the 10 star rating i would give Sallly.
