Dr. Khorsand has the best bed side manner I’ve ever seen from a vet! You can tell he is passionate and treats your pet like his own. Speaking of which, I’ve met his dog who is beautiful and health which is a testament to Dr. Khorsand’s work!

Not too long ago, I experienced the worst day of my life. My 13 year old puppy had to cross the rainbow bridge because of her cancer. The morning I called to make an appointment, they understood the pain in making this decision. When I brought her in, we were taken to a back room for her to lay down and have her IV put in. We were given plenty of time to say goodbye and had no issue bringing my KiKi in so that he could say his goodbyes. Considering the experience, it's a good vet that showed compassion when it was really needed.
Until we meet again, Lexi. You had such a beautiful heart and will always be loved and missed.

Legacy has been a breath of fresh air! Dr. Khorsand always makes my 16 year old chihuahua feel so comfortable and takes the time to gain his trust. He is thorough and attentive to our dogs and our family. Our chihuahua Frank has some unique health issues that we’ve needed help navigating through and it feels great knowing he is in good hands. He has been able to give us solutions for Franks joint pain without harsh medications and given him years and energy back to his life. The rest of the team is welcoming and professional as well which is so nice.

I’m so happy that I found Legacy and Dr. Khorsand. Ziggy, my husky cattle dog mix, is weary of new people, but Khorsand’s calm and positive energy puts him at ease and that’s really important to me. He is extremely knowledgeable and provides cost effective, holistic and individualized care. He walks me through every part of the exam and I feel more educated every time we visit. I’m very grateful for that. I’ll always bring my pets here.

Dr. Matt is one of the best vets I’ve ever met. I would never trust Xena’s care to anyone else again if I had the choice

My husband and I have been clients of Legacy Veterinary Clinic for over a year and we have been so pleased by their kindness, thoroughness and copious knowledge. Our dogs love the vets and staff I wouldn't take my pups to any other vet except Dr. Sarhangpour and his wonderful, caring staff. I recommend Legacy Veterinary Clinic to everyone I know. Thank you, Dr. Sarhangpour and staff for taking such great care of my old boy.
I also happened to see another review in which the critique was about the pets go back with the vet technicians and people stay in the rooms. If this person looked around a bit more she would have found out that this has been the practice at all veterinary clinics ever since the lockdowns and then the return to allowing people again in the rooms only. This appears to be a restriction that is imposed on all veterinary clinics, at least in Colorado. This is not something to be critical about. Then I reiterate I will take my pups only to Legacy Veterinary Clinic.

We switched from Indian Tree Hospital, and it was night and day. Dr. Matt listened to us as pet parents who do not want the Big Pharma route and holistic with our Husky/Cattle mix and Dr. Matt found solutions to not having her on potentially harmful flea, tick and heartworm. :)
Appt was at 9a they got us in and out by 9:45. :)

Hands down the best place I have taken my dog to. The care Dr S, Dr Matt, Kate and the whole team provide is amazing. They truly care about the animals and it shows. I have a very vocal dog and they go the extra mile to make him feel relaxed.

I want to start by saying that every other experience I’ve ever had at Legacy Vet Clinic has been great, especially with Dr. Canepa, but I will not be back after working with Dr. Kaveh Sarhangpour.
My dog presented with severe diarrhea and Dr. Kaveh only ran a fecal sample and gave no other options for further testing. I can understand this since it was his only symptom at the time. 5 days later my dog ended up in the emergency vet with severe vomiting. The emergency vet took x-rays and noted that his bowels were large and inflamed and his blood was full of fat. She suspected he had either pancreatitis or IBD. The following Monday I brought Porter in for a follow up since his appetite had gone. When presented with all the information, Dr. Kaveh suggested we just wait 24hrs and bring him back. That he seemed fine and was eating wet food in the back. This felt condescending and dismissive considering we were now dealing with diarrhea, vomiting, loss of appetite, low energy, and inflamed bowels.
When pressed about what the ER vet had said, Dr. Kaveh admitted that he had not reviewed the x-rays. I demanded he do further testing and the test ran indicated he has pancreatitis. It turns out this was the only test he ran. He did not take x rays and did not run a blood test. Porter spent that day and the following on IV fluids and antibiotics. The other disappointing thing is that we did not receive follow-up care instructions from Dr. Kaveh and had to speak to the front desk to get more information on next steps with his care.
Come to find out, my dog is dying from lymphoid leukemia. After being admitted to the emergency vet now two weeks later, we found out that Dr. Kaveh did not re-run his blood testing as requested. It’s not clear if the blood test at the time would have shown the cancer but we’ll never know and can only wonder if he had, would we have had more time?
The other vet techs and staff here are amazing (Specifically Joy), and I believe they are highly qualified but when I learned that Dr. Kaveh was the Medical Director for Legacy, I knew that this was no longer the place to bring my dogs. If Dr. Kaveh had approached the situation differently and apologized for his dismissiveness, things might be different but the lack of care he took when dealing with Porter sealed the deal for me. I would caution that any future patients need to be your own dog’s biggest advocate because Dr. Kaveh certainly will not be.

If I could put a negative review I would. This is the WORST clinic you could bring your pet to. I have taken my dog to this clinic for almost a year and I have expressed many concerns regarding his weight loss, digestive issues and physical abilities and every single time I’ve take him they have told me “oh he is fine he is just over weight” or “oh he is fine the food is just upsetting his stomach” I have spent hundreds of dollars here for them to brush him off and I have asked for X-rays and other invasive tests to determine what is happening with my dog with no results. I finally decided to take him to another vet and not even a blink or question as to why I’ve decided to change care was asked. (They do not care about your pet only about the money). I took my dog to another clinic and was told that he might have cancer. The very next day I had to euthanize my dog due to a massive tumor that had been growing for at least a year if not longer that ultimately came to his demise. This vet is terrible. I would NEVER recommend, in fact I have told every single person that takes their pet to them to withdrawal care and seek elsewhere in case they endure the current pain I am going through. If you look at ALL bad reviews of this clinic every single one states that their pet has died due to the negligence of this clinic. Please take my advice and seek care elsewhere for a clinic and vet that ACTUALLY care about their patients.

This location was generally fine, with nothing particularly noteworthy to report. One aspect I didn't like was that for exams, the pet is taken to the back for the exam without the owner and then returned to the room, followed by the vet coming in to talk. This made me uncomfortable, as I believe exams can be done in the room with the owner unless it's a procedure. This method also creates a less personable form of care between the vet and the pet owners. While I understand this is common practice at many offices, it's not my preferred method of care. Overall, it was an okay location.
