*** 12/24/2024 Update: I did finally return and pick up the glasses in December. My monetary situation improved. The lady at the front desk was lovely. She even located my frames from my first visit in March. Due to the other issues, I will not be returning, but the glasses were finally received.
*** 6/24/24 Update: I returned to the Pearle Vision, was cussed at by Julian and will not be returning to collect my glasses. I have submitted a BBB complaint along with other places. The BBB is not able to assist but will post the complaint and Pearle Vision corporate has been silent since my initial email. I will never go back to Pearle Vision and Julian has probably already thrown my glasses away. He did lie to the BBB about our interaction so there is no ethics in this place from what I can see.
This is by far the worst eye doctor I have ever been to. The eye exam was a mess. Dr. Badowski did not ask me to remove my contacts, she did this for me without informing or allowing me to consent. All of a sudden I had a finger in my eye. Then, when I had already refused the diabetic check via their paperwork, she did this test anyway, without my knowledge and I was charged for it. This was the most unprofessional eye dr I have ever seen. She was argumentative as well when I said I wasn't there for contacts.
Then I brought in an old frame to get new lenses, so I wouldn't have to purchase new frames. The USPS lost this package in March and I was never contacted. I had to reach out to the eye DR to ask about the glasses 3 weeks after the appt. They then offered a replacement frame for free, which I picked out, but I waited so long for the glasses, the money I had saved to purchase them originally had to be used elsewhere and I still haven't received my glasses. I had my appt in the 1st week of March.
I will say, the lady at the front desk has been very nice, but didn't show much sympathy when I couldn't purchase my new glasses and have been without new glasses for well over a year. I am now stuck and I think I will go back and get the deposit on the initial frames back, but I have used my yearly ins option and can't do so again until next year.
I submitted an initial review about the dr visit and did receive a response that the business would follow up and never did. I will never return to this Pearl Vision again for eye wear.

Yikes this place was bad. I had the short Doctor with black hair and she didn’t introduce herself so I don’t know her name, but she just rushed me into the room and immediately started the exam without a word. I felt rushed throughout the exam and like I was a bother to her for simply being there for my appointment. During my test I didn’t feel like she had the patience to give me a couple seconds to decide which lens was better because she’d immediately click to the next lens for me to pick from. She was rushing me. I’ve never had that happen before.
I got my glasses a few weeks later and the prescription was probably wrong because it took weeks to adjust to them which I’ve never experienced before, and ever since I was a kid, one of my eyes has had a stronger prescription than the other, but this time both eyes were the same strength, and the strength was a big jump from my old prescription from last year. I’ve had glasses for over 25 years and have never had such a humiliating and weird experience at an Eye Doctor’s office. I wouldn’t trust this place with my vision needs. The front desk staff is nice though.

I have been going to the location in Westminster for years and have always had the best experience. They have always been nice and very helpful. The doctors are very informative and explain what I need to be doing for my eyes and the lady that works at the front is always very helpful and friendly. I always recommend this office to everyone.

Short tempered and condescending doctor as well as staff. I’ve had glasses since I was a teenager and I’ve never had such an uncomfortable experience. Also put numbing drops in my eyes without my consent, which was not needed and I’ve never encountered elsewhere. Make the drive elsewhere.

Woman at the front desk provided awesome customer service. Went out of her way to help even though I am not a regular customer (I was in Denver on business and needed replacement contact lenses). Thanks for the help!

Got glasses there and it’s the wrong prescription and they kept telling me it’s the right one. Clearly if I can’t see they are not. Took my business else where.

Front desk staff was friendly. However it took 5 weeks for my glasses to arrive. They were not made correctly and it took another 3 weeks for the replacements to arrive. For how much glasses cost this is ridiculous. Spend your money elsewhere.

I will never go back to Dr. Badowski ever again. She was condescending and seemed extremely aggravated at every question I asked. She never explained what she was doing or testing for during the exam unless I asked, which was met with frustration.By far the worst part was when I needed to remove my contacts for the rest of the exam. She didn’t ask me to take out my contacts, but also didn’t tell me she was going to take them out for me. Without any warning or consent, she puts her fingers in my eye and tells me to hold still. I was shocked. I told her I can take them out myself, and she met me with a, “fine, but you’ll have to wash your hands”, as if I wouldn’t have otherwise.I showed up with only my contacts, and she was upset that I didn’t have my glasses or previous prescription on me. I wasn’t told I’d need to bring my previous prescription or glasses when confirming the appointment. I had to come back at the end of her work day with my previous prescription from a year ago, because she said she wouldn’t write me a new prescription without cross-referencing mine from last year. She used a manually-adjusted prescription glasses frame on me to see if the prescription she had was right, but it didn’t look right and wasn’t as clear as my glasses. She was clearly frustrated but said they’re the same and shoo’d me out.Usually, even with my poor vision and needing higher corrective contacts, my eye doctor has always had sample prescription contacts on hand to test out. This doctor did not. She only had the right eye in stock and claimed she was “saving me money by giving me this”, and “we don’t carry your other eye’s prescription because it’s so high”. It’s not exactly saving money when you only have one eye in stock…but whatever. The last straw was that after my exam and paying for contacts, they said they’ll be ready for pick up in a week. I ordered a year supplies, which in the past means I can get free home delivery. The front worker told me they don’t do that. This should be posted in advanced so I could order online instead.Again, I cannot stress enough how no one should go here. It was a really stressful and high tension experience for no reason, and I honestly thought about getting a second eye exam at my previous Pearle Vision (Broomfield), because Dr. Badowski didn’t seem confident in her exam results.

I would not recommend this Location, 1st time scheduled appointment, I stated that i was in need of my annual eye exam and possibly interested in contacts. Recieved a call from the receptionist that clearly has no phone etiquette, told me that the Dr. Couldn't see me because it would be a longer appointment, I asked for just an annual.she put me on hold for 8 min. Came back and said if I could book earlier? I asked can i book for a Saturday appointment or late appointment. She stated they don't have Dr. Fto accomadate.

I have two pairs of glasses (over $1100) from this location. The sunglasses I purchased, the frame has broken where the tab screws into the frame. I went into the store asking for help in repairing or replacing the frame. I was told the frames can't be repaired and the woman working in the store said I'll need to talk to the office manager Julian. Three weeks later Julian left a message for me saying there is nothing that can be done and that I'm out of luck with support from this office. He even suggested I call the manufacturer, not taking the time to provide any contact info for me to reach out for help.I feel Julian is more concerned about not lifting a finger to help an existing customer then providing solutions. I feel that he had the opportunity to provide options such as quoting how much replacement frames might cost under my insurance policy, waiving typically fees associated with new frames and taking accountability in any way.Julian is never in the office and the people who answer the phone don't have his schedule posted or availability and he doesn't return calls.Instead of taking the opportunity to help an existing customer with an issue and with an opportunity to sell more product and services Julian prefers to turn away this potential business, not lift a finger and take the easy road and not show up to work or return calls.
