I took my dog today for her first grooming appointment, she is only 3 months and 2 weeks old. When making the appointment I was offered the introduction grooming to get my dog familiar with the process of getting groomed. This included a bath, hair cut only at face paws and private areas. When arriving the girl reminding me of what was included, looked at my dog and said she would go home with her private areas cleaned. After waiting a while, the groomers comes out with my puppy, places her in the table, brings her up, and with no interaction whatsoever started brushing my dog in a very rough way, I saw my dog getting scared and she pulled away, I saw the groomer just pull her towards her, grabbed her paw and said “stop”. After a while when it was time for her face, my dog was not having it, which again it was her first time, the groomer pulled her towards her by her jaw and teeth and said “stop” again. That’s when my puppy got very scared and was doing everything possible to have the groomer not touch her. The groomer then decided to pull my puppy by her jaw and teeth towards her face and forced my dog to make eye contact with her to let my dog know she was upset and told her to “stop” again. Can someone please explain to me how is that an introduction to something new for a puppy???Now I know this review goes toward the whole facility, but I do want to say that I saw all the other groomers do an amazing job. Talking to their dogs, petting them, one even stopped grooming and waited for his dog to calm down a little bit. My had a furious/annoyed/angry face the entire time.I didn’t get the girls name who serviced my dog today, but she has a scar by her lip.(By the way my puppy’s private areas were not cleaned at all, like they said)Not taking my dog here again.

We got our hamster here and Alex who helped us out was very knowledgeable and kind with our daughter as she gave her instructions and tips on how to care for her new pet. She answered all of our questions and was very helpful.

I love the weekly dog adoption. The kennels are so nice for the dogs to get great exposure to hopefully find their forever homes

Taken my dog here for a brush and bath several times and had a great experience until today. Employee that brought my dog out to me had a very rude tone and told my that they we’re concerned about my dog trying to lick them during the service and they would note this for further appointments. I feel like a dog licking a person is just a dog doing dog things. Unsure why they made it such a big issue. If you’re concerned about a dog licking you then you probably shouldn’t be a dog groomer. Every other time I’ve been here they’ve told me my dog has been nothing but sweet and well behaved. Won’t be back.

Went in for a dog leash and it was a nice store. Walked out with what I needed and a few more things for my dog.

So, I boarded my dog there the first time. He was 2 or 3. The only chew toys they allowed were actual antlers. He usually has a small rawhide every night. But I thought the antlers were better if they were recommending that. The antlers are expensive, but can also fracture their teeth because they are too hard. He's 10 now. And just had / fractured teeth extracted. Not from dental disease. From horrible advice from Petsmart.

We took our puppy Snoopy here and it was a great experience! Allysa was amazing! A lot of the results come from putting in the work at home with your puppy. You get so much more value out of the training if you apply the lessons learned from PetSmart on a consistent basis.

Selection is pretty great for an in person store, they have a salon and vet clinic, adoptions and great selection of toys, equipment for pets of all kinds. Staff is hit or miss on attentiveness and helpfulness. I mean it's a well stocked pet supply store, and it's clean. What more can you ask for?

I loved this petsmart and the Banfield inside! It was my first time bringing my dog in without any established vet care and this was just a quick checkup. The vet made me feel so happy about my pets care and gave me so much info. The vet tech was the kindest and most knowledgeable. She put me at ease with any of my worries and was sooo friendly. They made me feel like a million bucks as well as my pup. I was hesitating over coming to a Banfield because they had bad PR in the past and it seemed to corporate, but this team really met my needs and made me feel good about my dogs care. I will definitely be returning with my little Ziggy. The only thing they could work on is front desk being more welcoming and approachable.

I love Banfield at this location, but I have to walk through this terrible Petsmart and somehow I have an awful experience every time. The employees here are incredibly rude and go out of their way to make you feel unwelcome.

we brought our dog in today for the first time after moving away from her usual groomer. she is the sweetest lab mix; has grown up around kids and other animals. i’ve heard her bark maybe five times ever. she is a lover. but when she was taken back by the employees instead of ever even talking to her or trying to connect with her to make her feel comfortable, she was cornered up against a wall so that they could look at her hair around her feet and stomach. she was visibly shaking, as she could hear other dogs whining and crying in other rooms and didn’t know these people at all. they never once tried talking to her or offered to let her even smell their hand. no introduction whatsoever. the lady just kept trying to violate her space without connecting with her. It’s like she has never worked with animals before. I could understand if our dog had ever had this issue before or if the woman had made any effort at all to help ease her discomfort/fear. they just gave up and recommended we take her somewhere else. (Which I’m glad we did because the environment did not feel welcoming or friendly). dogs snap when they are scared and repeatedly have their personal space violated !!! this cannot be a rare experience. they’re animals — know how to work with them if you get a job as a groomer .
