The store it self is filthy, employees don't seem to care it's trashy, that's the first thing I noticed walking in, the pharmacy is the only reason we went there, they are amazing pharmacist was very professional and nice, helpful, but I didn't feel good going into the store, if not improved next time meds need pickup I will switch pharmacies. But definitely not because of the pharmacy, because of the filthiness of the store in general

This location on 72nd and federal is a joke! I went in today for laundry detergent and it is now locked up behind glass. I asked a young lady to help and also to check if they had more in the back because they had a sale for 4/$10. She said there was none in the back but I could mix and match with other detergent. I went to pay and was charged $26! When the manager Sharon went to check on it she said they were actually 4/$17, so I asked if I could get it for the deal as advertised on their shelf (which was locked up so it had to be placed by a store employee) she refused and didn't even apologize or anything. She was super rude and the poor cashier apologized for the store manager! Sharon definitely needs way better manager training, I highly doubt she's gotten any! This sint the first incident I've had here so I would definitely say take your business elsewhere. This location needs to close or get better management!

Alex the store manager definitely wins the Most Apathetic and Useless Manager of the Year award. We've placed 5 orders through their photo department and every single order has been messed up. To find out their Store Manager, Alex, is the one either ordering the wrong materials, doesn't know what gromets that go on banners are, etc. A slow ordering system is his excuse today. Again, wasting time with this Walgreens. If you need prompt service and correctly produced photo items go to another store. Somehow there's no District Manager who can handle complaints and just an automated 1-800 number.

Just showed up at 9:15 and the pharmacist is nowhere to be found with an open time of 9. None of the staff can get in touch with him and I just drove here in the snow to get my prescription and now I’m screwed because I planned this into my work day and now I have to leave because he decided not to show up to work on time.

Pharmacist called out yesterday (11/30/24) and chose not to update their availability on their site or cancel existing appointments scheduled that day. Went to my scheduled appointment to find they were closed for the day.

I have sent all of my prescriptions to Walgreens on 72nd and federal. I recently had a stroke and was in the hospital for weeks. I was then sent to an outpatient facility. While I was at the facility they continued to give me my normal prescriptions. When i was released from the facility the doctor informed me he was sending prescriptions to my pharmacy. Walgreens had no issue and filled all of my prescriptions. Since then my original doctors have sent my normal prescriptions that I get normally get monthly . The pharmacy now refuses to fill my prescriptions that I usually get monthly. When I first called them to find out what was going on.They told me they had an issue with possible drug interactions and that they needed to talk to my doctor. I had my doctor call the pharmacy and they told her that the issue was not interactions but the prescriptions i got from the hospital. I called the pharmacy to explain what happened and they accused me of having multiple doctors sending the same prescription. I have never even picked up my prescriptions early and now they're accusing me of something I did not do and have no control over. I was in the hospital , I was not searching for new doctors!!

Young teenagers / young adults in there are non-chalantly disrespectful. I was late to a meeting and they couldn’t care less just talking and laugh with each other . Especially the girl with the nose ring . She needs to be fired. Shes on her high horse when she work at Walgreens lol

Don't EVER buy or pre-pay your meds online and then pick them up at the pharmacy they will charge you twice! In order to release my medication from the pharmacy I had to purchase it again In store! I spoke to the manager he said he said the system wouldn't let him refund it, I said "ok so what are we going to do about this?! He said there's no need to get hostile, I said I understand that but since there is nothing that I can do on my end what can YOU do about it? ( So that I don't have to be on the phone for 5 hours with customer service. and transferred to 4 different departments to resolve this issue.) He said "Jesus Christ" lol! I wanted to tell him to leave Jesus out of it but I new at this point that because the manager was so young he didn't even know how to deal with the situation or give me advice on what to do. Find a manger that cares or is willing to compromise or apologize for the systematic problems with their store and take a look at the options of what WE can do to work together and solve this issue, and not have the attitude of like oh its not letting me give a refund so that's it. So I took matters into my own hands and of course I called customer service to see if I could get a refund on my prescription from my online payment, and got transferred to automated service, then to an agent, then to billing, then to finance operations (and got hung up on twice), then that person sends an e-mail to the district manager and informed me that I probably won't get a response about the issue until next week Monday! But my question is, HOW HAS WALGREENS NOT CAUGHT ON TO THIS ISSUE OF THEIR ONLINE PAYMENTS FOR MEDICATION AND PICK UP FIXED YET?!!! I guess they like to steal money from their customers.

This pharmacy is seriously understaffed and leaves much to be desired as far as customer service. They outright lie about scrips coming from the "central pharmacy," to buy them time. Then if you go in to get the scrip so you can take it to another pharmacy, they suddenly have it and are filling it "right now.". The pharmacist is a self important pompous arse, who knows more than the Doctors and nurses who prescribed the medication and flippantly informed me I could buy it over the counter, then retracted when he checked the dosage. Moving my medications and probably will even avoid shopping at this Walgreens. For the record, they have one employee, Anne, who is wonderful, and I will miss her. That is who the star is for.
FF 3 months. I cancelled all of my scrips in March when I experienced this incident. Then I get a call this week that I have a prescription waiting. It is my heart medication. I am now delayed getting that medication because they refilled and charged my insurance. I use mail order now. I will call my insurance and have them reverse payment so I can have it filled through the mail order pharmacy. This takes time, and is a huge problem when you have arrhythmia and that medication keeps it in rhythm. This time I called customer service and verbally complained. They say it will be addressed. I won't know, as I won't be going there.
