Dr. Hammond and Maureen are fabulous! From the moment I called I knew I was in good hands with their friendly, compassionate, and professional care they gave my horse and I. Dr. Hammond spent so much time with us answering all our questions and explaining what he did during his very thorough eye exam. When your horse isn't well, it can be very stressful and they made us very comfortable. We received knowledgeable and detailed explanations for all the pieces of the exam. I highly recommend him!

I am very thankful for Dr. Hammond and the entire staff. They are all the best. Dr. Hammond was so gentle and loving with my cat. He needed eye surgery and Dr. Hammond was not only kind and gentle with my cat but also with me. It was challenging the first week with the appearance of his eye and the cone but what matters the most my dear boy had a full and complete recovery. In addition Dr. Hammond also gave me some routines to add daily to help prevent this from happening again. Thanks to Emily, Maureen, Joann and any other person that helped us. Warm, friendly, encouraging and kind they all are.

Dr. Hammond and his staff have been great with our dog Shiva. She has been diagnosed with retinal dysplasia and glaucoma. Had to have one eye removed and daily drops in the good eye. Cannot say enough about how thorough Dr. Hammond has been.

Recently I noticed that my dog was bumping into stationary things, indoors and out. My vet thoroughly examined his eyes and was able to rule out glaucoma. She offered 2 options: 1) steroid eye drops or 2) an appointment with an eye specialist. I decided to try the eye drops for a period of 2 weeks and when that didn't work, I called the Eye Clinic. Dr. Hammond confirmed that Morgan is blind. He offered to conduct another test to identify whether or not Morgan had a retinal disease. I agreed and am glad that I did. As it turned out, Morgan has SARDS and not a neurological disorder. Dr. Hammond and his staff couldn't have been more knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. I highly recommend this practice!!

I initially took my shih tzu, Dottie, to Dr. Hammond. Since then, it seems I have to take either Dottie or another dog, Nigel, to see Dr. Hammond once a year or so, due to reoccurring issues. I can't say enough about Dr. Hammond and his staff. He always has the utmost concern for whichever dog he is treating and I am very comfortable putting their "eyes" in his capable hands.
