Why can't the cashiers say THANK YOU ?? It's not hard.. Two words only.. SIMPLE REALLY. First time of a thank you was from the nice lady that bagged my groceries. That was swell to have someone bag. She said THANK YOU. BUT NOT THE CASHIER.. I have yet to hear a THANK YOU.

The pharmacy hours are listed as open until 8pm, but when I arrived just before 8pm today, the computers were already "shut down". This means I can't get my medication before I go out of state, meaning I will run out during my trip. Additionally, the secondary doors were already locked even though they have a sign saying they close at 8pm. Disappointing all around.

Quick and easy shopping. Nice people at the self checkout. I found everything I needed. Love being close enough to walk. I feel like I'm still in Europe ??

Was supper happy to shop here until a extremely rude deli lady informed us that the sandwich bar was closed. First no signage saying this and it was still set up. I was buying all my canning and most food here. I'll goto another store and buy my canning on Amazon. Unbelievably rude employee ?

Since moving to the area I've been using grocery pickup regularly- this store and team are THE BEST. I am so grateful for this service. I've noticed their system has improved over the years for easier ordering & communication. And this entire year I can't remember a single mistake in my orders even though I'm ordering a decent volume every week. All of the team members are friendly and helpful, I so appreciate the work they do <3

What I find in pretty much every store including Walmart is how gross the checkouts are as far as people out things in to scan or weigh and they get streaked and nasty looking and I have yet to see anyone ever clean one..to simply wipe it.

RACISM!!! I was followed by a security guard at this King Soopers location. I came in wearing jeans and a black jacket (hoodie part not covering my head), no backpack or any bag, no hat, and I wasn't wearing a mask (not that these things are necessarily suspicious). I don't drink or do drugs, so I wasn't drunk or high. I noticed the security guard was following me down different aisles. Finally, in one of the aisles where she was following and walking in the same direction as me, I walked in the opposite direction and she stopped as I walked past her. me: "Do I need to be followed?" security guard: "Yes." me: "Is there a reason for that?" security guard: "My boss told me to follow you." me: "Is there a reason for that?" security guard: "You tell me." me: "Do you follow white people too?" security guard: "No. My boss told me to follow you. My boss doesn't trust you." I left the 2 items I was holding on the fixture where I was standing and walked out of the store. I didn't have a basket or cart as I was just going to buy a few things then leave. This occurred Friday night 7/21/23. I saw other King Soopers employees as I exited the store and thought about telling them what happened but thought, "what if the boss of the security guard is there?" So I continued to make my exit. When I first came into the store, I asked the security guard what time the store closes, as when I was walking in, that was the only employee in sight in the direction I was walking. She said 11. I thanked her. I thought I heard another employee say they close in an hour. As I turned to pass by the self check out area and into the store, I thanked the employee who I thought said the store closes in an hour. I didn't realize that same security guard would be following me later that night. Security directing their energy towards people of color is in effect distracting themselves from those that are really there to do harm. I am never coming back to this King Soopers and am boycotting Kroger. I saw another review here from someone who is Black and who also testified of racism. I am an Asian woman. PEOPLE OF COLOR AND ANYONE DIFFERENT IN ANY WAY, STAY AWAY FROM THIS STORE!

This store is very popular and often too crowded for my likes. Employees often stock shelves during busy periods, creating traffic jams in the aisles. Produce section often has empty plastic bag dispensers. On a positive note, employees are very pleasant and helpful.

Well laid out. Organized. Clean. Friendly and helpful staff. Could use more cart returns in the parking lot. --> UPDATE JULY 2023 I was disappointed to find the store very disorganized today. The aisles were hard to navigate and one was entirely blocked (see picture). The store was quite busy (midday on a Friday) and so it was very inconvenient and potentially unsafe to have the aisles so crowded. Please do better king Soopers! You are a great store.

Absolutely appalled by the way management treats their staff here and I'm not suprised I'm the only one seeing this. The red hair girl in deli would rather cuss and yell at her employees and call them names than help waiting customers. I ended up leaving as the interaction was very uncomfortable to witness and nobody once acknowledged me or the gentleman also waiting to be helped. The cashiers all seem absolutely miserable and every time I am shopping there are constantly petty pages going on over the loudspeaker that you don't hear at other king soopers. My shopping trips here can vary so much, I never know what to expect. There are definitely pleasant and nice people who work here but the rotten apples are spoiling the bunch!

On Saturday morning, my husband and I decided to visit this King Soopers because of the beautiful views of the mountains and the wonderful sunshine. I went in and was amazed about how well the fruits and veggies were stocked and the Happy Juneteenth cupcakes that were on display, I just had to buy it. When I approached the self checkout line, I was immediately asked by someone on staff if I found everything ok. I said with a smile yes because in fact, everything was ok. I didn't feel out of place even if I was the only black American shopping there. What changed it was toward the end of my transaction. A worker came over to me, mind you there were about 7 other shoppers checking themselves out and then the worker asked to count the items in my bag. Her response was the machines are sensitive. I was taken aback...no one else received this service but me. She says that they do this at all King Soopers. I said this isn't so because I regularly shop at King Soopers in Denver. So she counted my items and said , yep, you have 11 items as if to assure me that she was right in her assumption that I stole something. As I was exiting, I saw 2 cashiers that were both Mexican, I asked was that normal and they both said no. I then asked to speak to a manager. The manager stated that its routine because of the new equipment and I said no one else was selected but me and then he shrugged as it to say oh well...long story short, if you are black, do yourself a favor by not going to this particular King Soopers. Racism is ugly and if you don't want to be involved with bag checks and certain staff looking at you as if you are less than, go elsewhere. I hate I have to give them 1 star!!!!!! 0 stars!!!

Store is nice but Self checkout clerk was rude. Needed help for items and she proceeded to say " looks like more than 5 items " as she walked away when I had bulky frozen food.
