So unorganized and their communication is so subpar at best. Had an item that was clearlyon sale. Did not ring a properly, so ask the cashier (Lisa) stated that it wasn’t on sale. Went back to the meat department. The meat manager said “oh sorry for the miss understanding but it is on sale”. Went back to the check out to cash out and the manager (Cindy) proceeded to tell me how the refrigerator unit went out yesterday and the meat could possibly be spoiled….. I wonder how many people they sold spoiled meat to in the past day….. kind of unacceptable In my opinion. If you wanna get sick or have food poisoning, you should definitely go to this grocery store.

The staff here are the rudest and not very bright people. Instead of honouring promotions signed in the store, they refuse to acknowledge it even with a photo of the promotion. And when the store puts a promotion on an item that shouldn’t be on sale, instead of honouring their misleading and deceptive practice, they refuse to give the advertised price. I cant tell whether it’s just this Safeway that doesn’t care about their customers or all Safeways.

I feel very sad because on several occasions I have gone to the store and the lady who is at the express checkouts is very despotic and has a bad character. I don't know if she is sexphobic or homogobic, but every time we go, my husband, my service dog and I she treats us in an inappropriate way and I feel like I have been displaced by the bad treatment of that lady towards us, our dog is emotional support and she discriminates against us in front of store customers and has even asked us to vacate the inappropriate lady's store, wanting Calling even the security personnel could really respect our staff and our animal. I no longer want to return to this store and it is the one I have left on the way to go to the cemetery.

I stop by ! With my dog “ service animal ” and the customer service who’s name is Cindy and the lady a front of the kiosk was really disrespectful with my person! I was ready to show the paper that I have ! But I don’t want a waste my time talking with those two persons again! I’m always going to others Safeways but this is the only one , acting RACISTS !!! I hope other people can read this review

I have been a shopping at Safeway for 20 years if not longer and lately the customer service has gotten horrible with a few of the staff members. I try to let it go but when it continues to happen I'm about done with shopping at Safeway. I've worked in customer service for years and I couldn't Imagine talking or acting the way some of the staff does at the 38th & Wadsworth location. All I have to say is WOW what is this world coming to!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Why are multiple selves empty? I mean several huge selves just missing every single item. I ask the girl at the register where are the toppings for ice cream and she says “we must be all out” and actually got mad that I asked her. I asked her is theft the reason and she says “we are just restocking” but no one is restocking and she didn’t offer to go get what I needed. Terrible

Watchout for mispricing at this Safeway store and atnearby Safeway store on Colfax Avenue. (Especially, deli and meat departments). Recently, a trove of Dietz and Watson products were advertized at $9.99/lbs special, but charged at $12/lb at thecheckout. Advertised special pricing is all-too-frequently incorrectly applied at checkout.

If I could put zero Stars I would. The guy working in the deli has zero respect and zero understanding of what customer service is. Was too lazy to make a sandwich for people do not go here. There's a reason safeways going out of business

Went to self checkout and needed help with the coupons on a few items. Deleted my transaction from self checkout and sent me to the only cashier line they have. I had 6 items...smh
