About Zen Doggy Den | Dog Training Boarding Day Care
Zen Doggy Den is a holistic dog daycare center in the Wheat Ridge area, run by a Certified Dog Trainer with a training-based approach. It is designed as a home-like environment, creating a home away from home where dogs feel comfortable and cozy. It sets itself apart by separating dogs into smaller groups with similar personalities and giving all dogs breaks from playtime to keep them happy and healthy. Services include dog daycare, dog training, and dog boarding. Dogs love it and are safely monitored in smaller groups, with their own safe spaces to calm down. The setup, where dogs can see each other but are in their crate, helps anxious dogs feel safe. The staff understands and loves dogs. The trainer exhibits remarkable expertise, tailoring approaches to address specific behavioral issues, leading to vastly improved dog interactions. The structure provides dog-dog socialization with napping and rest periods, and there is a large fenced outdoor space. Many give their strongest recommendation for any of the services, considering it an excellent dog care situation.
The trainer, Julie of Zen Doggy Den, transformed my leash reactive Belgium Malinois into the perfect walking companion. I highly recommend them.

I’ve been taking my high-energy lab to Zen Doggy Den for a while now. He loves it and shakes with excitement every time we pull up. They’re good with him and I trust taking him there to interact with other pups. I would recommend them and I hope to see them continue to grow!
