Please be aware or beware! I would not even give this company one star but the option for 0 stars was not an option. I would strongly suggest you take your loved ones to another assisted living facility other than Good Samaritan Water Valley - Assisted Living in Windsor. They didn't give my mother her blood pressure meds for over 20 days and never called me with any concerns until they had to call an ambulance to take her to the hospital! She's 95 years old and almost died from their lack of care! I am going to have them investigated for multiple issues, including negligence, unethical billing practices, misappropriation of funds, as well as inappropriate relationships between director of senior living facility and the assisted living director which affects the ability of the assisted living director to do her job. Corporate office does not respond by phone or letter. Next step is filing a complaint with the Colorado Department of Health.

My wife and I have lived at Good Samaritan Water Valley for about 1 1/2 years. We are very happy with the our apartment, and the staff. Everyone is so friendly and will bend over backward to help you. The food is great, but it was much better when we could go to the dinning room for our food. Before COVID we met a lot of people and enjoyed their company. Even now with the shut down there is a lot of things to do. We have Church, exercise, and games over Zoom. The staff is very good at thinking up ways to keep us busy and happy. We have our own minister who is available at all times when we need her. We would not go back to living in our own home for love or money.

We have lived at Good Samaritan for two and one-half years in a twin home and are very pleased. We learned of Good Samaritan from a friend and arranged a visit with the Sales and Marketing Team. The visit allowed us to see the complex and meet residents and staff. We were impressed by the friendly atmosphere created by all we met. We saw different apartment layouts and the twin homes. We chose a twin home as we had owned a similar one and now wanted the freedom from maintenance and responsibility. We like living in Water Valley as we see the lakes and use the golf course and tennis courts. One thing standing out from our visit and living here is what we call a culture of kindness. This culture was evident in all aspects of life from our neighbors to other residents and the entire staff. We encourage our friends to visit Good Samaritan and highly recommend it.Peggy and Ed

I just started working at Good Samaritan Water Valley in Windsor. The facilities are incredible! The care and services that they provide is amazing. The residents know they are loved and supported, especially in these trying times. 9 News in Denver recently did a feature on a creative and safe way, called the “hug tunnel,” for residents and families to stay connected. I can’t say enough good things about them.

Mom has loved living in Good Samaritan Water Valley for over 7 years. The entire staff is patient, caring and kind. From the front desk to the hair salon to the dining room staff, they all make her feel part of the Good Samaritan family. I would highly recommend this outstanding, beautiful place to call home.

My Mother was a past resident of Good Samaritan in Windsor, Co. After she moved out and had properly filled out her exit papers, She was charged rent and they took it out of her account for $2704. for rent when she wasn't staying there anymore and they owed her the security deposit. Two months later we still do not have the money returned and the Windsor location keeps telling us the check is in the mail(for 2 months), Corporate office will not return my phone calls or emails. For a company that claims to care for our elderly, they take advantage of our elderly and hide behind there desk. They owe an elderly woman on a fixed income over $5500. and they are in no hurry to return her money.......After two months of no action, we received the checks as soon as they where informed of news stations were asked to investigate. All money is returned.

Mark and I have lived here for 7 years. Have loved every minute of it. We looked at all of the options before deciding on Good Samaritan Water Valley. We love that it is a Christian community. The staff and residents are so Loving and Caring. You can feel the love when you walk in the door. We look out for one another. There are so many activities. You can participate in as much or as little as you want. The apartments are beautiful. I could go on and on, but come and see for yourself. You'll be glad you did!

We recently moved into Good Samaritan after looking at about 13 places in this general area. We could not be more pleased. The staff is warm, friendly and very accommodating. They go out of their was to respond to your every need. In general, their floor plans were larger and much more affordable than the other facilities we considered. We love the view from our balcony overlooking the Pelican Falls Golf course; which, by the way, we can play for free Sunday thru Thursday. On the other side of the building you have a lake view--tough choice! We highly recommend you check out this wonderful facility if you are interested in Independent Living, Assisted living or Memory Care. . . .Del and Joanne Ritchhart

This place is beautiful. It's The Broadmoor meets small town, caring community. The staff is so friendly and really considers the needs of each resident. Fun, interactive activities help draw people together to build relationships.
