Extremely disappointed with the experience at this location. My wife and I have been loyal H&R Block customers for 15 years, but after today’s appointment with Sandra Vetter (Associate Team Leader), we will be taking our business elsewhere.
Just like recent reviews have mentioned, we scheduled our appointment online twice, only to receive a message afterward stating there were no available workers at that time. We decided to drop off our documents instead. While my wife was explaining how we had scheduled online and asking a few questions, Sandra Vetter mocked her questions and responded with rude, condescending remarks—including telling us, “How miserable your life must be.”
(Tax Analyst) Preeti Paliwal after briefly glancing at a retirement cash-out form, commented that we’d be “moving into a higher tax bracket”—a statement she delivered with a sarcastic tone. Ironically, we’re already in the highest bracket.
Despite us clearly stating we weren’t available to come in the next day, she insisted we must return in person to sign paperwork before the deadline—without offering any flexibility or alternative solutions.
The situation quickly escalated into a shouting match between Sandra, my wife, and myself—completely unprofessional and unacceptable behavior from someone in her position. As a business owner myself, I would never tolerate an employee speaking to clients this way.
To make matters worse, I had to ask for my paperwork back, at which point Sandra casually said, “Well, someone is looking for it. Is there anything I can help you with?” When I said no, she told me I could wait outside.
The lack of respect and professionalism was shocking.
Unless H&R Block addresses this issue and holds Sandra Vetter accountable, they’ve lost a long-time customer for good

Lady answered the phone and didn't introduce herself. She was rude and cut me off. Put me on hold without saying so. All I needed to do was ask some basic questions. Felt like I was bothering her. No customer service whatsoever. Please fix this.

If I could give zero stars to this H&R Block, I would the lady at the front desk was so disrespectful on the phone and then when I came into the office, she was extremely disrespectful, throwing tax documents on the floor and on chairs unorganized and not willing to properly deal with people for H&R Block The disrespect that I received in this office today the front desk manager should be fired.

I went in to pick up my tax return and was asked to present my ID. When doing so I was given a tax return that was not mine. I went back in to return the tax return that was not mine and the front office lady gave me nothing but attitude for having a tax return that did not belong to me that she gave me. Then I waited for 45 minutes to not receive any help or my tax return that I was told was waiting for me. After I waited for 45 minutes to not receive any help or my tax return that I was told was waiting for me I saw many people come in and opt in for an online sign and pay. I decided to go ask the front lady if I can do that since they didn’t have mine ready as they stated. The front office lady again, bit my head off with nothing but attitude.

We’ve had our taxes done by Preeti a few times and she has been wonderful. She is definitely a valuable asset. This year was the first time we encountered Amy- the loud, rude, and condescending woman at the front desk. Thank you Preeti, but due to what we experienced with Amy, we have to find another place to do our taxes. Please let us know should you work elsewhere!

Preeti was very kind and professional. My taxes seemed more complicated than previous years, but she answered all my questions, and helped me file a quick and stress-free return. Preeti was very knowledgeable, and I would highly recommend her.

I cant recommend against H&R Block Windsor CO strongly enough. Went to them for standard tax filing. I was encouraged to use one of their remote preparers as they would be able to get the taxes done in 3-5 business days. Ultimately the taxes took over 2 weeks to get done, partially because the office didn't assign them to a preparer for several days. I followed multiple times in person, over the MyBlock app and via phone with both this and the office the remote preparer worked from. My attempts to follow up on the process went with ignored messages and unreturned calls. When I finally got a call back I was informed that someone scheduled me for an appointment with out my knowledge. The communication from this company is absolutely horrendous. Over 2 weeks to accomplish a task than can be done in a single evening via Turbotax. This company has lost my business, and I recommend you take yours elsewhere.

Service was nice nothing to write home to mom about. Price was a bit of a sticker shock seeing as I should have just done it online for around half the price. But I guess in the end you pay for convenience of them doing it and making sure it is all correct.

For many HRB has been my go to Tax Firm, no problems, Great service. Them BAM! The floor fell out. I have been paying additional fees for what is called "PEACE OF MIND" coverage. It's a above and beyond their normal service. The I RS sent me a letter telling me my 2021 taxes were all screwed up and I owed additional taxes. Not to worry... I HAVE PEACE OF MIND COVERAGE. Well, here's where it gets interesting. NO ONE WILL EVEN TALK TO ME.Tried everything. Even being shunted off to a new tax analyst. She won't call me back either. Let the games begin.My reco - Stay away from HRS. Definitely don't pay for PEACE OF MIND coverage.

HR Block has a great system to support their tax pro's. Easy to use any very forgiving to clumsy users. My HRB tax pro is the all round best.Knowledgeable, courteous, considerate. Five stars for her.

For the last two years, this company has prepared our taxes with no issues. This year, however, we experienced some very unprofessional behavior. We scheduled an appointment several weeks ago and meanwhile, we got all of our documents ready so that they could have everything they needed. Then, less than 48 hours before our appointment, they called to cancel the appointment and said they could no longer fit us in. They said they weren't prepared to meet. We were left having to scramble and find anither company at the last minute, causing a great deal of stress. They seemed not to realize what a difficult position this put us in. It appears that their scheduling was disorganized and if they couldn't handle their customer load, they should have said something sooner. This was very unprofessional.

We dropped off our documents at the beginning of February and our taxes are still not finished today, March 7th. We eventually scheduled an appt to complete our taxes and we're charged $295. I can't find this pricing on the H&R Block website anywhere. We will definitely not be using H&R Block next year.

Connie Jacobs was helping me with my taxes but it has been almost two weeks that she has had all the needed information and my taxes are still incomplete. There's been no communication from her end. Every time I have tried to reach out or get an update I have either been ignored or given attitude. After reaching out a forth time, I was assured my taxes would be done by yesterday and they're not. Not only has this been a frustrating process where I feel left in the dark, but it has been so genuinely confusing. I don't understand the lack of customer service nor the ability to be straight forward with me on where we are in the process. I highly suggest using anyone else.
