Lori James is AMAZING. I cannot scream her praise loud enough!I have pets and kids and I DREAM of model homes. I adore the house tours that builders put on and I count it as a wonderful weekend to walk through them and drool.But I have no natural ability for design, color, or style. I don't have time to learn either - and when I've tried, I just paid for things I ended up hating or doubting 2 weeks later.Then I met Lori.I asked her to make my home look like a model home but still be functional for pets and kids. She over delivered by a mile! I couldn't be more happy!I asked her to come back and help with finishing our basement - she made it SO easy to pick through all of the options. I was never stressed or overwhelmed. I never doubted her choices. I never had to return anything! I just got what she recommended and LOVED the outcome.And the best part? I lived in my house, thoroughly enjoying it, for years! When we'd have parties or people over, I was so proud of how it looked with just a little tidying! And then we went to sell it: we had multiple offers over asking price and my husband and I just keep crediting Lori for it all! It sold in the first weekend it hit the market which was a huge relief since showing houses with pets and kids afoot is no small task.We just keep saying over and over again how Lori is worth her weight in gold!We will definitely be using her again! I get so excited to work with Lori!

Beware! This business is extremely poor on follow up and follow through. We had some warranty work done on our new flooring and things seemed to be going in the right direction. Most of the work was done on March 16, 2021, but there was a transition piece that was removed and supposed to be replaced. After several attempts (4/6, 4/28, and 5/12) we got a response on 5/13 that the flooring was discontinued and Interior Design Concepts (IDC) was waiting for a call back from the flooring company. We were asked to be kept in the loop and have never heard anything from IDC. Made several calls, left voicemail with phone number, and still nothing. Last voicemail was on 8/16, five months after the transition piece was removed. Still no return phone call. Today 8/18 I just stopped into IDC and caught Danielle Lindsay, the individual that we had been working with and also a co-owner of the company by surprise. She got nasty, said she had been sending me text, which she and I have never had any text correspondence, and when I called her out for lying her nasty co-worker chimed in. This company knows that they have an unfinished product out there and are not putting in any effort to make things right. Do yourself a favor and find another company to work with.

I worked with IDC to help update my bedroom, bathroom and living space. I can't say enough about how it turned out and what a joy Lori, Dannielle and their entire team did. From designing an entirely now look for my space, to helping me envision the concept and scheduling the work with their team. I couldn't be more pleased with how my house turned out.To top it off, more than a year later, when I had an unrelated issue arise with some tile work, Lori put me in contact with Seth Kelley, to come in and solve that problem for me.I look forward to working with IDC again, as I continue to update my home.

Danielle does an amazing job and I can't give a high enough recommendation. She is able to visualize and work colors, textures and themes out in a way that gives you exactly what you are looking for even if you don't know what that is! After going to so many different places for our flooring needs I can confidently say that IDC is the absolute BEST place to go for all of you interior needs.

Lori James did a FANTASTIC job on my house. I asked for my house to have the look of a model home but still be functional for my family (including pets and kids). She did just that! Additionally, she stayed within my budget and let me do some of the work/projects myself (without a guilt trip for being thrifty) and gave me the direction I needed to obtain the desired result (for example, I sewed my own curtains but she picked the fabric and style). The fee for her time came in at half of what I was expecting considering I had heard that hiring an interior designer was expensive. The services she provided beyond her design (she is THE BEST with paint colors so I only had to paint once and not regret my own decisions multiple times lol!!!) included shopping for me, buying more than needed so we had options, delivery/setup to my house, and returns of the stuff we didn't keep. With a toddler in toe and no natural eye for style, she was a godsend! The time and money she saved me from buying and trying my own things and the associated hefty learning curve will have me definitely using her again in the future!!
