Responsive and easy to deal with. Much better than other pharmacies in Windsor.

Had to transfer a script from Walgreens. While the insurance was ony going to pay a small amount the Good Rx was the "go to". There was a $50 difference for the same medication via Good Rx betwwen the 2 stores. Not ony that, the transfer was conducted at 7pm at night, an hour before closing, and was ready when they opend the next day. Only delayed because they were waiting on the script transfer. Paul coordinated this from beginning to end, was SUPER helpful, and very pleasant. Wish they could all be like Paul.

This is the slowest Pharmacy I have ever experienced and it’s like this every time.

I've lost count how many times I've gone in to get my meds and been told "we don't have anything for you", my doctor has called them and argued with them. According to my doctor I have year refills in my account (showed to me) but Safeway says they never got any notifications from the doctor office. You try calling and no one ever picks up, they all leave at 1 for lunch closing the pharmacy! I'm done arguing and fighting with them for my meds.Word of advice to everyone AVOID Safeway pharmacy at all cost!

I was on a goose chase today for a RX that was out of stock at other pharmacies. I know the pharmacies have been facing so many challenges with supply and staffing, but I was so impressed with the service from Heather. She stopped to check that they had what I needed, helped me understand the transfer process and got me signed up for text alerts so that I would know when to come for pickup. I’m sure those extra steps in her day were tough to fit in, but it really made a difference for me. Thanks Heather!

Safeway Pharmacy in Windsor are the best in town! The staff are friendly, knowledgeable, these folks follow up and do what they say they will. I am impressed with their customer service and expertise. They offer the best service in Windsor. I gave my business to King Sooper’s Pharmacy for 5 years. I was pleased with them until I moved my prescriptions to their Windsor location a year ago. I cannot tell you the amount of issues, time, and breath I wasted trying to get my prescriptions from King Soopers in Windsor. I am pleased with Safeway for always having my script when they say they will. Even if I have to wait in line for a few minutes (at King’s i would wait 30 mins and they may or may not actually have my script) even though they would text to say it was ready. Safeway is the best pharmacy in Windsor because of their employees friendly smiles, knowledge and genuine desire to help the Windsor community. Safeway Pharmacy knows how to do it’s job. Which, in my opinion, is a reflection of management knowing how to manage and motivate their team!

My husband and I both use Safeway - I love being able to grab my prescriptions while I’m getting groceries too. The staff are always friendly, and they always fill my prescriptions so quickly. Very happy with this pharmacy!

Wow. As a primary care veterinarian, I must sometimes prescribe a medication I do not have in my hospital's pharmacy. Not very often, thankfully, as it can be an extremely unpleasant experience as it was today. One of my Clients Care Specialists called in a prescription for a patient to be filled at this pharmacy. First off, she was unable to speak to a live person, so she left a detailed message and our office number in case there was a problem with the prescription. We did not receive a call back and so presumed it was filled. Next, my client tried to pick up the very important medication her dog NEEDS and was told no such prescription was called in. I resent when my clients are lied to. Then, after 5 calls, when I finally spoke to the pharmacist on duty he proceeded to tell me that I was wrong about how the drug is used - - IN DOGS!!! I could barely contain my rage. Human pharmacists have no business trying to practice veterinary medicine! This is definitely a pharmacy to be wary of if you are a pet owner who loves your dog/cat...

For the last few months I’ve been having issue after issue. I was going to be traveling for work the next morning very early, so I tried to fill my perception 1 day early and the pharmacist refused to fill it. Just to be clear I never fill medication early. So I called my doctor, they approved the early refill and called the pharmacy and told them it’s ok to refill a day early. They still refused to fill it. Come to find out the Manager of the pharmacy sets their own rules on refills. It has nothing to do with Government regulation or laws. Apparently they know my situation better than my doctor. I had to go without my medicine for almost 10 days before I returned home. It greatly affected my ability to work. I was treated like a criminal and felt it was uncalled for giving the circumstance. Today I went in for my refill and they closed at 5pm even though there sign said 8pm. I have to delay my work again because they closed early. I am very disappointed that they are going in the direction they are. They used to treat me like a valued customer and knew me by my first name. Here lately I’ve noticed a lot of new faces behind the counter and they don’t have the same customer service. I will be looking for a new pharmacy and if I were you I would avoid this pharmacy at all cost.

First time in a Safeway in 5 years, store seems in need of a refresh and they do not seem to carry much in the way of Organic options. Not a bad supermarket but not one I'll be returning to.

DO NOT USE FOR YOUR VACCINES. Gave my BF the WRONG covid vaccine and then blamed him for it. He had the card sitting right on the counter and TOLD them he had previously had the Mederna one. When I called to ask about it both the pharmacy tech and the pharmacist were unbelievably rude and disrespectful. I will not use them again.

I came in to get chicken for Monday like always at the deli and the manager I didn't even want to help me because she seemed super irritated and unpleasant and frazzled as always..... but the young man James helped me and was extremely nice and very helpful and really should be manager considering he's always pleasant when I see him. He makes coming back to this store worth it!
