Guys, this place is great. Sure it gets pretty busy during the weekends, but the people are great! Sandeep helped me today at the register and has been there since the store opened. Love hiw everyone checks in on you. I'm glad to pay a bit more at this location for the people you get.

Great store, they have everything I need and not too many customers, I'm not scared to go in this store, unlike other grocery stores full of people. This is a safe place to shop for groceries.

If you are applying for a job here make sure you want to be a cashier. I came in for a interview for Starbucks and bakery clerk as a backup.I came in at the time I was supposed to be there walked up to the customer service counter and they told me to go and just sit at one of the Starbucks tables so I did which I thought was weird and then the same lady from customer service came up and started interviewing the kid next to me there was absolutely no privacy and it felt very unprofessional also was very loud because all the tables were full, then it was my turn I had such a hard time hearing her. I finished my interview and she told me that either she or Margarita would give me a call anywhere from today to next week, so I took it as I didn't get the job. Well a couple hours later and I get a call from Margarita and she was talking (screaming basically) so loud I didn't have my phone on speaker and my mom could hear her across the room. She was telling me I got the job as a cashier so I asked if it was for the bakery clerk position and she said no it's just front clerk so I was confused because I hadn't applied for that position and she keep on rudely asking (bullying) me into saying yes but, I told her thank you for your time but I will decline and she just wouldn't take no for an answer and she told that she'll just have me call her back at a better time. ?

I have been shopping at the Windsor Safeway for 3 years now. I have always had great service from their employees and all of their managers. I want to give a HUGE shout-out to the night manager this evening, November 7. She honored my Free Turkey Coupon that I forgot to get when I shopped early this past Sunday morning. She technically didn't have to honor the coupon but she did and her kindness brought me to tears. Thank you for treating me with kindness, respect and caring enough to walk with me to get the turkey in the back of the store and for walking with me to the front door. And finally, thank you for a most needed hug. Safeway is very fortunate to have you as a supervisor.

Quick place to stop when in a hurry. A little on the high side for prices unless it is there weekly ads. There frozen section has been a hit and miss because of freezer issues. The stuff that is on sale for the weekly ad is not on the self. There is nothing in that spot. Kinda frustrating at times.

September 2023 by Why do things have to be so hard?
630 am - not one single donut in the donut section. There are no checkouts - no self serve, and the only option is a cashier that isn't open. One other person waiting and had gotten no response. There were 2 workers within 30 feet of the register chatting and completely oblivious to the 2 people at the register. There was a bell to ring - since there were no employees around (other than the chatty cathy's) I rang the bell until there was a response - from a rooom nearby. Was then told "You don't have to ring the bell more than once". Well, I shouldn't have to ring a bell and wait and hope someone shows up. Either have someone at the register or open a self checkout - whatever works. The only way a store can make money is by selling goods - can't do that if no one is at the register taking money. People are trying to get to work. No reason to be rude to the customers - the customers may just rude back. I didn't come there to start trouble - came there to make a purchase. There were only 2 customers in the store at the time and both were waiting at the checkout for someone to check us out. Next time, instead of saying don't ring the bell more than once, how about a small apology and accepting responsibility for not doing your job?

Super clean, friendly customer service, all of the items were faced to the customer on this Saturday morning and it was very pleasing to shop here. Very few gluten free options though, the King Soopers across the street is better for that.

This place is so disappointing. Always out of stock, love that there is only one entrance after 7pm. Once, twice, I get it, but over 3 years..I'm done. Go to King Soopers, that's seems to be where I end up going after trying Safeway.

Yesterday we rented a rug doctor, the sweetest employee Sofia checked it out to us. She let us know there was a $15 deposit for bringing the 3 pieces back. I asked which ones to be sure I didn't lose anything and she showed me. Today, I cleaned out the tanks and brought all the pieces back. I was told by Margarita, who was very rude to the people ahead of us as well, that I would not get the deposit back because the $15 was a cleaning deposit and I only get it back if I take apart the brushes and clean them all out. (No problem, I just didn't know, because I wasn't told that) She said to get my $15 back I would need to load the unit back up, go home, clean it out, and come back. I let her know that I would absolutely not mind doing that, but that I was not told that by Sofia. She then called me a liar. Made a scene and told me to take it home if I want my deposit. No reasonable explanation for not believing me. No escalation. I had been in the store for less than 3 min, treated like crap and sent on my way. It's not about $15. It's about treating people like crap unnecessarily and the unprofessionalism from my local Safeway.
