I worked with Dakota at Velocity Lending in early 2024. He made me feel very comfortable every step of the way and was always available - and went out of his way to answer all my questions of rates and the Fed expectations on future rates. I felt in very good hands and ended up with the best rate I could have in this market at that time - post close he keeps up with me so that when rates change / fall he will help me make the best decision for me at that time. Can’t recommend Dakota any higher!

Josh Lyon cannot be trusted. Mr Lyon provided a federal consumer protection disclosure form containing mortgage rates that were not available at the time (misleading at best) and then lied about it to us AND to the compliance investigator from the State of Colorado Department of Regulatory Agencies. He first blamed the loan originator for the erroneous rates in the form and then blamed his assistant. He only "accepted responsibility" after the state investigator confronted him with testimony from the loan originator and his assistant. Strongly recommend using ANYONE else for your mortgage needs.

I have worked with Josh and his team at Velocity Lending both personally and professionally. There isn’t a team out there that will work this hard to get you in your home. Josh shows that same care on simple real estate purchases to the most complicated purchase. I am very blessed to have Velocity Lending on my team!

Josh's group did a fantastic job with my loan. I've always used bank financing but after my bank put me in a real bad spot giving me the wrong loan with the wrong terms I reached out to Josh. His team was able to get me the loan I needed with a great rate and kept me out of trouble. Highly recommend!

They have someone on call which was super helpful when looking at homes. The team worked hard to even help me close early. When my husband and I decided to take the plunge and buy a house we weren't sure if we would even be able to but we tried anyway. We were given a few different lenders to choose from but we went with Velocity Lending and they did not disappoint they were very helpful and knowledgeable kept us in the loop of everything we are forever grateful to the Velocity Lending team. The Josh Lyon team at Velocity are ROCK STARS! They are always on top of their communication and willing to go the extra mile for their clients. Even on weekends they always have someone on call, which is huge especially in this fast paced market! Highly recommend!
