Montgomery's General Merchandise is a charming mountain town store packed with a wide variety of items for outdoor enthusiasts. It features old, antique, and modern products all squeezed into a small space, offering surprises at every turn. Visitors can enjoy fresh deli meats, browse an excellent selection of T-shirts and sweatshirts, and learn about the history of the building, built in 1890 with a 1900 cash register still in use. The shop is reasonably priced, with a friendly atmosphere, and is a must-visit for those passing through Yampa to experience the unique history and local craftsmanship of early 1900s buildings.

Such a step back in history - love it!! We purchased some sausage made in the store which we are anxious to try. The gentleman working was so kind and a joy to visit with. This is a small town gem not to be missed! Yampa is lucky to have it!

Great place to stop for most needs. Usually stop here for ice drinks and snacks. This time around we stocked up on fishing supplies. They sell fishing licenses and guns here. Open on Sundays during fishing season.
